I get the fact that the hemi has a dedicated following, but I don’t get the hate on the hurricane, or at least the hate on the HO version. I agree that the SO version has had issues with misfires, but not the HO version. Regardless, I just don’t get the hate. Just because I love my wife...
Is there a single solitary part on the 5th gen trucks that isn’t on backorder? My brand new Tungsten came with a blown door speaker. Dealer says the speaker is on indefinite backorder. Seriously, one buys a > $90k truck, it comes from the factory with a bad speaker (it rattles like hell...
I think it’s funny how there are so many posters who find any angle they can to try to shed a negative light on the inline 6. So many citing that it’s the first year for the engine so surely it will prove unreliable over Time. —— it’s not the first year, in fact it’s been out for several...
I was 100% certain that I was going to be able to conduct a 30 second google search and find exactly what you are looking for. It took me less time than that to find a factory looking jeep sticker for my wife’s JL’s windshield. I looked for over 20 minutes and wasn’t able to find a one...
My new Tungsten does not have the same engine cover I have seen in every single marketing picture or video I have seen. Mine does not have she scalloped lines that all of the pictures show. (Mine is the one in the attached pic). Do those of you that have the Hurricane HO engine have the same...
1,800 miles on my tungsten. All is great other than I can hear something rattling around inside the tailgate when I raise and lower it. Not sure if I should take it into the dealer to check it out. I dread dealing with the service dept.
Agree. I insure my all of my families vehicles through Progressive, having recently changed from State Farm. With Progressive, my 2025 Tungsten costs only $430 more per year to insure than my daughter’s 2024 RAV4, with identical coverage. That was not the case with State Farm. Their rate...
I’m ok with that. The paint I received from the factory is more than good enough. I’m obsessive about preventative maintenance (oil changes every 6,000, tranny fluid changes every 30,000…), and the ceramic coating was preventive maintenance for the paint.
2025 Tungsten. 1,200 miles on the truck. Am getting an average of 14.8 mixed driving, but I have a very heavy foot, hitting 85 or higher on a regular basis (I drive on a freeway in the middle of nowhere very often so high speed feels like crawling)
The f150’s have that issue in spades. Like one of the most common issues. It happened on my last f150 (2014). Sounded like someone hit me with a sledgehammer when it shattered. On the Fords, it’s a result of the contacts getting corroded on the defrost grid where the sliding rear...
Agree, it’s pretty cool technology. The valet mode also lets you set up boundaries. It defaults to sending an alert when the truck travels move than 1/4 mile from the location that it was placed in valet mode.
Scroll down on the main app screen to “All Trips”. Once you click on that section, it will bring up the individual trips that you can then click on and it will give you average miles per gallon, top speed, duration, mile driven, and so on.
