surround camera is available on the 8.4 also. No the screen has ONE input. The surround camera has four cameras that feed into an image module. It handles all the inputs and sends out the signal to the screen.

Make sure you get the module that is correct for the screen you are upgrading to 8.4 no nav is one piece 8.4 Nav is two pieces 12.1 two pieces TTHe module for the 8.4 nav and 12.1 is different

Yes you absolutely have to change the module

Everything is the same the 8 pin plug has to be repinned so all the buttons work.

I have already contacted my Service advisor about the two recalls and the TSB . I will update once it is done. It is still cold here but Ill note any difference in the performance I see in cold or hot weather. In Dallas right now its starting out at 30 degrees and topping out at 70-80
