Excellent post and how-to guide!!!!!

Updated last week and no Bluetooth magically muted calls and I've talk extensively during my hellacious commute. I have a 2019 Limited 6/19 build. The only problem I've ever experienced with UConnect were the magically muted calls. Everything else worked flawlessly.

Mine updated today and I lost no functions or settings.

I'm not blaming you but you missed my point. If changing settings fixed your problems, knowing exactly what was changed may fix our problems as well. The tech should have documented exactly what was done.

This is useless for the rest of us dealing with the same issue. The tech should have told you what he/she changed so we'd be armed with the information when speaking to our local dealership. I'm glad yours seem to be working now. Such a nuisance for an otherwise delightful rig.

Luckily, it wasn't a complete waste of my time. I had a problem with my rear seats not reclining, which was fixed.

Took truck to stealership yesterday for this issue and was told the following. Reconfigured software. Customer must delete and pair phone and also delete and reinstall Uconnect. Translation...... They did absolutely NOTHING! Tell customer to delete and re-pair phone and also delete and...

Ha! Because it's a truck I feel justified.

It's a lemon, either literally or according to most lemon laws that say 3 or more service visits for the SAME REASON qualifies as a lemon. Of course, check the laws of your state. Hopefully, the truck visited the service department each time it went into limp mode.

Nope they didn't work me over at all. I knew what I was buying, haggled over the price, and knew that I had 30 days for a full refund.
