Here is a Chrysler chart.. check your sticker or weight your truck. This is for my box length and motor/trans/gears for a 2019.. with my doors sticker on GVWR and then the GCWR that puts me around 10k for a trailer.. just shy if my head math is right.
I hear you there.. Thankfully. I have not experienced that at my dealership. I have worked here for some time. All I have to go off of is what Chrysler stated for Max cargo/tow with the VIN.. I'm sure i'll be under with a car and trailer for that.. tops is 8k-9k pounds I would guess.. and it a...
Sorry... it has 3.92 gears to have the maximum towing available for the trucks set up. I should have been more specific... working at a dealership that's just a force of habit everyone is in if a half ton has the 3.92 as many do not.
Very nice, I had Firestones in the 1 ton.. think Ride Rite in the 3/4... I'll look into the Ride Rite as well. Think the Firestones I mentioned I was quoted like 130/140 bucks for the kit.
Yeah I am looking at the Firestone Coil-Rite kit for the truck. Stock the suspension is "squishy" i can see even 700-800 pounds of block in the bed squating her out lol. I have to do bags anyway as she's getting the Carli arms/coilovers and if you haul or tow the recommend the bags. I had bags...
No photos of my new Ram 1500 with the flatbed yet or the cars in tow. I do have a question. My trailer is a steel 24' speedloader (14k- so dual 7k axles) as it pulled double duty for track and at the family farm; And I had a 1 ton megacab.... now I dont to the farm work like we did and sold the...
I agree... The enclosed and campers do push a bit of sound back at you in the cab.
It was my theory that an open trailer may not be to bad or like a boat. As the hull will push the sound out and away.
I know my built 00 Cummins had a 5" straight, i pulled my bumper pull enclosed for an 8hr...
Well, if you're in it, it's loud enough... with a trailer in tow. I would suspect it will be loud haha. that's why my resonators out back are still there. I don't tow many four wheelers or RZRs any longer as I sold them all. But i do tow a Saleen S281SC and Challenger SRT8 (she is heavy). The...
I am running the 3" high flow MBRP on mine. I have the rear resonators in mine. Cold morning starts it's louder but not bad. I'm debating with removing the rear resonators. But i'm just not sure how it will be towing... I mostly want to remove the rear resonators to ditch the "airy bag" sound...
I have been thinking about doing that; just wasn't sure if they would rot out quickly with doing that. I actually am liking the tone they have, just want to ditch the airy sound. I feel if I pull the resonators out back when towing it may get a bit to loud.
Yeah. I braved it yesterday and got mine installed. Wife wasn’t happy as I’m fighting some back issues and am on some heavy meds. But I can’t sit all day in a house with it being 70 degrees out.
It does sound good though. I am thinking of removing the resonators on the rear so I ditch the...
Side note; I just got an MBRP cut and clamp... how do you like it? And is it bad in ECO mode when it engages? I am looking to possibly do the resonator delete kit as well but for now they will be there... and have you towed heavy with it? Thank you in advance.
