Perfect to hear. BC the warehouse had them in stock all with fresh date codes so they are in the bed now. Sadly. My front coil overs and rear shocks were to land tomorrow. Would have been ideal and how it was planned. They are momentarily lost and delayed. Shooting for Tuesday after work I can...
2" Level with 1" out back of lift (Truck is a NON ORP truck, Laramie Sport...may do a 1" Motofab puck in the rear if needed for hauling/towing). Looking at doing 285/60R20 but really feeling the 295/60R20. Stock Laramie Sport wheels. Do they clear the front upper control arm just fine? I will...
I did stumble on the Freedom Offroad track bar for the rear, price is not bad and seems to get some good reviews. I'm just a freak about specs and geometry for suspension. I will see how it goes but I may do a new bar. Longer links will be happening soon as well.
Here is a link for those...
So i have a 2" coil over kit coming for the front, and I also have ORP Ram Box springs (to add an inch out back and the rate is supposed to be higher than non...hope to take some squat out with loaded on light loads) for my non ORP truck. I am curious, as I may do a 1" puck in the rear for 2"...
I have the rubber Mopar flaps myself. And that's not bad on the MPGs... I am 15-16 with in town stuff and normally I just run the tow setting all the time on the Pulsar. I tow a pretty stout flatbed (8.5x24' with dual 7k axles...overkill for a half ton but never owned a half prior myself or a...
I use it for a truck and def. need some rake in the truck for loading and towing. 2" (1.9" for the 6112s) in the front and another inch in the rear (VIA ORG Springs) is what will likely be happening. just need to decide on tire size for a 33 maybe a 34.
Do you know where it is rubbing at? Plenty of clearance at the a arm/balljoint? how does the truck handle the 285/60R20 towing and hauling? MPG take a stout hit?
that's realllly what i am looking for, I may do an inch out back for a little rake for towing the toys around... just use ORP springs back there to gain that. Any rubbing? Hows she feel/drive?
Really debating on ordering these up and doing clip #6 for 1.9".. looking at loaded ones, does the 1.9" hold true or will it end up being more? My truck is a non ORP Laramie, I am aiming for around 2" up front and looking to add ORP springs for the 1" in the rear (set for rambox/multifunction...
I can probably handle cutting them down. Gives me an excuse to buy a vise at the new house lol. What portion needs trimmed on them and by how much. Shouldn't be to hard to handle.
Sounds good, I think the ones I have to go on my truck are likely the Version 2. I have not got them on the truck yet due to wanting to get the suspension sorted and new tires on. And i'm torn on my single row light bar I want to order. But think I have that sorted, I may have to do some work on...
How much do you think the trailer and car are at when towing? That sounds like where i will be. I was hoping to clear a 295/60R20 on stock wheels with a 2" level, And i'm Swapping rear springs to the ORP springs for the ram box/multifunction tailgate as that box set up is around 300lbs more than...
Well i'm about to place my tire order, Your rear is stock. And just a 1.5" level up front? Any rubbing? How does she drive with the 295/60? Do any towing much?
I fully know that statement, I got a crazy offer for my 1 ton SRW; I miss it a bit, but so far this half ton has taken all we have thrown her way with stride, and the ride is better as well.
Got yah, I have factory flairs; and it's a Laramie, but i'm at 36" front and 38" rear. Just trying to plot mentally is all. Thank you for the fast reply, I'm thinking about staying with a 33"-34" tire as I tow the fun cars around and dont wanna murder that ability, but 35s look really good as...
