    A/C Performance

You have to stop with the didn't color text. Some don't contact well. It's horrible. Especially purple and blue. I'm sitting in a parking lot right now with hf hose clamp and can't get below 50 from any vent. Fortunately they all produce 50, but this sucks.

    Ramboxes owners: what was here?

    definitely a sticker.

    Etorque and Air Suspension

Had etorque without air and replaced it with no etorque with air.

    Air conditioning performance

100% sure. I had no heat... Just cold. Removed clamp, got heat back. Definitely got the right hose and expected behaviour. I was hoping to get below 40 but it just wouldn't go. But it was 98 degrees out. I might try again on a cooler day to see if it goes lower.

    Air conditioning performance

Well, I kinda have good and bad news. I went and picked up these clamps and did some testing with a vent thermometer. I really can't tell any difference. I don't think my truck is suffering quite as badly as others. I am able to get down to about 42 degrees with and without the hose clamped...

    Air conditioning performance

Do we know if these are "in stock" at HF or an online order thing? It was 98 here yesterday and my A/C was sucking pretty bad. Been following along and this looks like an easy remedy.

    Adaptive Cruise Contol

I'm not the only one. This forum has many examples of folks having the same late braking acc tendencies. Compared to BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and even my old 2017 Honda CR-V, the acc on this truck suck big sweaty gonads. And that's just the gods honest truth.

    Adaptive Cruise Contol

    1) Gas Mileage suffers because ACC or any cruise control in general aggressively tries to maintain the speed you've selected. It doesn't handle the subtle things your right foot does when you speed up a little down a hill to not have to give more gas to go up the next hill. You do that...

Too particular about the paint on new Ram?

I personally think that would be unwise. It needs to be spotless for your inspection. These things arrive filthy. Would hate for you to take delivery of some defects you couldn't see for all the crud. I've been running mine thru an auto car wash since day 1. Life's too short to be worrying...

5th Gen Ram Sold after 5 Months, PROBLEMS!

This exactly! The tundra could literally be the absolutely worst alternative choice. My condolences to you and your family. Any other truck but that one. Uggg

Order 2019 vs wait on 2020

I get this same mileage without etorque. It'll never pay for itself. It doesn't save a penny in motion. So unless you spend all your life sitting in stopped traffic, it saves not a single cent. I think your logic is assuming you'd be getting worse mileage without it, and that's been disproven...

Order 2019 vs wait on 2020

Wait. Even if no changes occur, you'll still have a logically 1 model year newer truck, making it more valuable in you need to sell or trade. Skip etorque. I was fortunate enough to have RAM buy back my first that had it. I was able to custom order my replacement and getting rid of etorque had...

    Am I Crazy?

Also not a big deal if you get a spray in bed liner. But, that was pretty sloppy.

musty smell after turn off AC...

I've also experienced this. I even took my cabin filter out for inspection to ensure it wasn't wet or moldy. Dry as a bone. Anyone know where to look to self diagnose? It seems to have gotten better as the temps have increased and I use the AC more. Improved to the point that it's no longer an...

    Cabin Filter

It isn't quite as easy as the manual makes it out to be. You will feel like you are going to break the thing and it will bend things a little. I can only assume things will straight back out over time. It's an absolutely Horrible design.

    Gas Door Popping Open

I have had it happen twice. First time I can only assume I did it leaning over to put something into the bed. It happened again a few hours later when I saw my sister lean over and put something into the bed. She pushed up against it just like I had and walked away with it left popped open. I...

    Am I Crazy?

Take solace in the fact you'll probably have it back to the dealer many more times. This is just the beginning of the journey. Unless you are lucky and manage to avoid the litany of issues plaguing these things, or choose to ignore them.

    Am I Crazy?

I had someone put a door dent in the side of a brand spankin new M5. I'd had it less than a week, still with the temp tag. I was in a conference at a local resort and my wife saw it happen. Mini van pulled up next to it, kid opened door into it and the parents hustled the kids back into the van...

    Am I Crazy?

A good PDR guy can take the dent out and you'll never notice. When I took delivery of mine, it had a tiny dent on the rounded corner behind the rear door. Nowhere for a PDF guy to access it. And it also chipped the paint a little, which disqualifies it for PDR "pulling" as it could rip the...

    Rear sway bar

Just got mine installed yesterday to resolve my wobbly feeling on shifty uneven roads. After taking several trips out, I'm sold. Much more stable and less sway. I usually keep all my vehicles stock. First mod I've done in a long time. Unless something else comes up, will probably be my...
