How much weight does it add? With only 1000# payload capacity on my limited, I'm really careful not to add anything I don't need. The OEM tonneau cover isn't secure but it is light.

Looks like 125 pounds. no thanks. I'm sure it's great...

My thread is here. For a paid service, I was pretty unhappy with how poorly this went down and I to had it fixed by just unplugging the battery for a day. The dealer said they couldn't trouble shoot it. AT&T...
Something to consider would be reliability. Uconnect4 is 3-4 years old now and has seen numerous updates even as recently as a month ago and so most of the kinks are worked out. You may need to wait 12-24 months to get the same reliability out of the UC5 system.
I'd love to have UC5 on my car...
Here's 13,000 miles since May of 2021 EcoDiesel consumption. First 12K miles on OEM 22" wheels & tires. Last 1,000 miles on winter tires (Blizzaks) and Winter fuel up here in NH. It has a hit for sure but I do most of my driving in the Summer so I'm okay with it.
August was lower because I was...
Sorry JTH. You're obviously very passionate on your beliefs here but there are laws against it for a reason. If your state isn't enforcing it, more power to you. In New Hampshire, it is enforced. It's a big fine and negligent driving to have ice on your car.
That was not a 3" thick sheet but...
since this is America, I can decide to live in excess or live within my needs and I didn't need a truck until recently and even then, it's my my primary vehicle because it doesn't have to be. People can do what they want and I choose to own, drive, wear, do what I need to do and little more. I...

It sounds like more services are coming to RAM Trucks
Hauling was my reason too. My last 4 vehicles were Volkswagen Golfs. My wife has a Golf Wagon and it's enough for her + the dog and family and friends. The issue with us we're going to a lot of motorcycle events these days A LOT and we were pulling a light weight moto trailer behind her wagon...
You also can't close the tail gate on a 6'4" bed either if you're hauling more than 1 bike.
I can put my GS sideways by itself and close the tail gate but 2 or 3 bikes and I still can't close the tailgate.
Customer's spoke with their dollars. Trucks weren't used like they are today. Trucks were fixtures of the farm. It was single cab, bench seat and 8 foot bed for 50 years. Then people started putting their kids in the cab versus in the bed. I grew up as a 'bed kid' I hung out in the bed of the...
definitely check your door to see what your max payload is. My 2021 limited is:
MAX PAYLOAD 1067.61LBS
MAX TOWING 9467.61LBS
Once you have 2 adults and all of our gear in there, we really don't have much payload left for a trailer. I don't have buyers remorse but I do wish I had thought more...
2016 R...had a 2012 R and VERY tempted to upgrade to the 8th gen but the 7th gen I have has had thousands of hours of time put into by me and others so I am pretty emotionally connected to it more than any other project I've had. At this point, It's putting down 400 HP / 390 torque to all 4...
I bought 20" Bighorn Chrome wheels from @MG99 a month ago, wrapped them in Blizzak DM-V2s in OEM size (275/55/R20) and installed them on the RAM 1500 Limited Night Edition. Chrome on a Night Edition truck I thought would look weird but I actually like it. No intention to change it any time soon...
