Passenger door completed along with 2 ambient LED's in the passenger footwell. Back doors are next then make a bracket for ambient footwell lighting on the driver's side.
It's hit and miss on the parking garages, our 09 Tundra with a 6" was just low enough to fit in the parking garages when we'd head up to Sin City. On the flip side our prev '17 Ram 2500 with a 3" lift and 35's wouldn't fit into the same parking garages in Vegas. Go figure.
The exterior temp sensor is mounted in your rear view mirror. I dunno about you fellas but my mirror is black and henceforth retains heat which I perceive leads to the temps being off a bit.
Working on my wife's resto mod '57 oval window. Could be classified as a barn find but it wasn't in a barn. Bought it off the 2nd owner, they picked it up used in '61 and had 48k on the odo when we got it.
It's an un-molested bug, no rust, no hacked up dash and has the original hood, fenders...
Its tomatoes tomatos. Regardless of what can you get, they're all about built the same. I went with BT from a Charger forum referral. Yes production/shipping time stinks but I'm 100% satisfied with their product and as a good portion of you fellas know....I got the OCD so I'm hard to impress.
Oh and that 3M adhesive on the LED strip will fail. What I've done when using that LED strip is get a roll of the 3M super heavy duty two sided tape from Home Depot and lay the strip on it and cut back the excess. Also use rubbing alcohol on the mounting points to the truck. That cleans off...
@th3duke my .02 if your dead set with that pin switch I'd put a thin coat of electrical grease on it after install. Or maybe tap into the existing hood pin switch? I'm not that all excited about an exposed electrical item that isn't somewhat waterproof.
Go check out their website they have other options and I know John runs black Friday sales, just follow them on FB. I'm not by any way electrical smart like Nikolai Tesla but Spod's products make electrical wiring beyond simple and guaranteed you won't turn your truck into a BBQ.
I got Liberty Mutual as our ins company and GAP coverage. I don't have GAP on the Ram 'cos I'm right side up but on the Daytona it's running me $7.50 per month.
#1 quasi plug for Spod.com
#2 it ain't cheap
#3 your gonna be hacking up your headliner
#4 the finished product mounted on the headliner to me looks darn near OEM.
Now, if your good with the above the Spod controller is the freaking bizness. One power wire, no additional fuses or relays needed...
