    Success! Low-Cost Subwoofer Experiment

Curious to know how it works out, as I don't see a cutoff frequency or curve listed. I see this one from Dayton Audio that cuts off at 500Hz with a 12dB/octave curve at 4 ohms, for example. 500Hz may be what you're looking for, or maybe a higher cutoff if you want to blend with your CDTs a...

    Success! Low-Cost Subwoofer Experiment

Why not just add an inline low-pass filter? I haven’t done any homework, but I think it’d be cheap.

    Which Fumoto?

I think so, but there are many threads full of opinions on this!

2023 gmc sierra 1500 road trip cabin experience

Good review. But Ram has offered a HUD since the 2021 model year, so it sounds like Super Cruise is the biggest differentiator for you. Personally, I’d love the full-screen Google Maps functionality. Perhaps you could share interior pics.

    Tow/haul mode always when towing?

Too many clicks to get down to 4th and back up again…although I wouldn’t have to reach as far. First-world dilemma 😉

    Tow/haul mode always when towing?

Great point. There’s a large river valley heading down to a traffic light where I’ll use Tow/Haul (while unloaded) just to avoid riding the brake for 60+ seconds. I’ve learned to force additional downshifts by tapping my brakes a few times. It’s pretty slick. And it’s absolutely necessary if...

    Tow/haul mode always when towing?

If you’re running level ground, temps are good, and you’re pulling easy, I can’t imagine needing to stay in Tow/Haul. It’s always there if you find the truck shifting frequently or heating up.

    Dodge unveils 2023 Demon

I generally like the Mach-E…except for the co-opting of the Mustang name. That’s just not right. Hopefully GM does better.

    Dodge unveils 2023 Demon

Temporarily. They also said, "...this is not the end of Camaro's story." Curious to see what that means.

    Air conditioning doesn't cool well

That TSB was very “involved”, right? Total dash teardown?

Agreed with @Darksteel165 on this…they are 100% correlated on the 5th gens, as confirmed by personal observation for the past 4.5 years.

    Fingers Crossed...Brake Squeal Resolved

There are a few listed in the Technical Service Bulletins section of our Resources page. I will say that I had this TSB done in 2019, and the brakes still moan in reverse when they’ve been wet or gotten dirty recently.

steering wheel feedback on Ram trucks..

Since they have electric power steering, this is simply the way they were programmed. I haven’t observed any obvious problems with mine. My previous truck had hydraulic power steering and had a different feel…but everything else about it was also different (drivetrain, suspension, etc).

Who here is NOT happy with their e-Torque system?

Well, that could be a fun experiment…especially with traction control disabled.

    Fumoto valve clearance

With the air suspension and ORG, i recall not wanting to shoot oil directly at the bar while having the truck raised to Off Road mode and sitting on Rhino ramps (the combination of which enables this big fella to shimmy under the truck easily).
