I went with coil because I knew I would lift the truck and didn’t want any hassle. Coil rides nice as well and I knew it would be a better ride than my previous 1 and 3/4 ton trucks I was use to.
It is a EXPRESS tonno, a soft roll up with the velcro sides. I do like it. I have had these kind on other trucks. Only part I don’t like is the back only latches on one side. It is spring loaded and self adjusting and seemed a bit loose. A couple times on extremely windy days it would become...
Exactly what I have! Sounds good, not too loud while cruising but a nice rumble while accelerating:cool:
EDIT: mine isn’t quite exact, part # 14239, 5x8 oval, 14” muffler length, 20” overall, just to clarify. Thanks(y)
Yes go with the 14”. A friend of mine has a ‘15 Ram with a 18” magnaflow and it sounds the same as the 14” on mine. Larger resonators on the ‘19 I guess.
Yep, I just replaced the stock muffler with a 14” 5x8 oval magnaflow, part #14239. Louder than stock and sounds good while accelerating but quiets to a barely noticeable rumble when cruising at highway speeds. If you want really loud all the time then this would not be the one to go with. 20...
That just flat out sucks! Even with the damage, it still looks better than most other trucks on the road! (Sorry, poor attempt in trying to make you feel better)
I really don’t have a good comparison. When I purchased the truck in July I lifted it and put 35’s on it within 200 miles. I sold the stock tires to a friend then put these 275/65 tires on the stock wheels for the winter and took the 35’s off and put them on the beginning of December. Also...
Running a 275/65 on stock 20’s. Same size as the stock tires on a Ford Super Duty. They are AMP Terrain Pro AT’s which have a similar tread pattern as a BFG AT. I really like the traction but they are loud on the road.
