Looks like they dropped the rear seat or something when they removed it. Definitely call dealer and also reach out to ram cares so they can back you

Brillo pad. Soft steel wool is not abrasive on metal. Stock exhaust tips will be Fine. Mine look like new and I use Brillo every 2 weeks

Not sure about tow mirrors but the setting for regular mirrors is buried in the sub menus for lights, mirrors, exit delays etc Owners manual will probably have the path

Opening the window doesn’t seem to matter. I’ve never opened mine and have had it crack twice. I finally opened it on the day it was going to the dealer for the new glass. Just to see what it looked like when open. Would be an option I would have never really wanted or needed anyway.

The truck learns your driving habits What you test drive and what you feel 1000 miles later will be quite different as far as the transmission goes.

Definitely. A good plan B. I think I’d rather try just putting a dab of rtv on the cracks if it happens again. Would be nice to maintain the original options. But you’re right, there’s something to be said for piece of mind.

That’s a damn good price Do you have to do some of the seat disassembly? Or do they do that too. I assume they use the mopar tinted window? That might be what I do if this window fails. It would be 3 including the original if mine cracks again

That could just be railroad dust if the truck was shipped on a train Get car pro Ironx and spray it. If it melts away then it was just iron particles that settled on top of paint. No biggie Happens all them time when driving over railroad crossings etc

New window at least and perhaps a leaking 3rd brake light too. Usually the window leak would be coming out of the crack. Water on that lip usually means brake light.

When you get it home take the 3rd light off and replace the seal with the rubberized one we’ve all used from Lowe’s or Amazon. Otherwise it’s going to leak again at some point. The foam gasket on the original deforms easily and loses its tension letting water in

Yes you can get the backlite that comes with the tradesman. Solid. Somewhere on one of these threads someone listed the part number. On Facebook 5th gen user group someone said safelite came to their house and installed for 360.00 not sure if that included glass.

Lol that’s barely 2 oil changes into the life of the truck ans they want to clean injectors? Seems like a cash grab and opportunity for them to screw something up
