If you have air suspension and pull on the door handle when locked and the fob is not near the truck the suspension resets itself. I keep mine in aero mode all the time and this happens. It’s normal.

There have been 2020s with leaking brake lights so I’d be suspicious of any stated change. Do the gasket mod. 1 hour later you’ll never ever have the problem again.

Yep I do it for a hundred yards or so once every few weeks to keep pieces and parts lubed. Also to make sure it’s working. Would hate to try it for the first time all year when the first snow falls

Have 3 stations around me with ethanol free gas. Pricey though at 3.50 -3.80 a gallon. I don’t think ethanol free gas is cheaper anywhere vs the ethanol version. I run the ethanol free in my classic muscle cars and lawn equipment Makes a big difference!

It makes sense with better fuel to get better engine performance. Running 87 is nuts and asking for detonation problems even with computers making adjustments for cheap gas. The transmission was babied by your dad and it changed shift profiles, that’s why it was acting funny on you until it...
You can put a small bead of rtv on the area outside the truck where the crack is. Take off the 3rd light ans you should be able to see. Take a small bit of rtv on a q tip or something and cover up the area where the crack is. Some have done this already ans the rest of us will probably do it if...
Just the gasket. The adhesive strip on the gasket should be enough to hold in place. Once you put tension on it it will seal tight. Just make sure to clean the old gasket off. Use goo gone.

I wonder if your crack just started and is coming from the outside and working it’s way inward. A 3rd brake light leak would have water in the middle of the frame typically

And the cherry on top is that the ram charger now works flawlessly. When I used the dongle the charger would usually start flashing red after a few minutes Now it stays Bluetooth blue the whole time the phone is in the slot.

Mine has become a damn brick after the last firmware update No response/nothing. Support has been worthless but what do you expect from Shanghai Sammy. Back to the archaic way of doing things. Taking 5 seconds to plug phone directly to truck and having it work flawlessly vs a POS box that worked...
Good Point. Take photos of your truck exterior around the rear window as well as the trim panels around the rear seats and the door sills. I found a few paint scuffs along the bottom of the window exterior that I needed to polish out. Go over the truck with a close eye before you take it home...
No it doesn’t need to be. As long as you have visible cracks that is enough to trigger the repair. That’s per the star cases that are open on this. What you should do is drive to dealer with out appt and have them take photos of the crack and submit to to fca for approval. Whether or not it...
Nope. On my first replacement I took to dealer on one day t show them. They took pics and submitted to fca for approval. It was installed and back in my hands the next afternoon
They don’t have to do a water test. There’s a star case on this that tells dealers if you see the cracks to go ahead...
