Did you buy the 7 to 4 or 7 to 5 adapter. A normal 4 pin harness does NOT have reverse output. The 7 to 5 adapter does.. (thats the 5 wire, for reverse, used for trailering brakes, etc)

Please confirm whether you are talking about a 2018 RAM or a 2019 RAM? If its an 2018, I'll move this thread to another sections (4th Gen) so that there isn't confusion, as the 2018 and 2019 (5th Gen, not Classic) systems are stated to be different.

1780 is a pretty stripped down Ram...depending on what you get you can be several hundred pounds less And I'm guessing at 922 your towing almost 9000? Think you pushing the Ram 1500, especially with a family of 4 and gear

You can either call Ram or use their online chat to request a copy. The asked for my VIN. Make sure they send you the one for the DT model, not the DS (the 19 ram Classic)

Take this for what its worth. I had my truck in this week for service, and among other things, I asked them to perform the 08-009-19 TSB update on my radio. When they tried to download the software from Chrysler, they couldn't get it (they tried for like 8 hours..my truck was actually there...
