also have any of you experienced your a/c on even though the ac button is not lit or auto mode is not engaged. this has happened to me 2-3 times now and of course not always like today. i can't find anyone mentioning this issue. is there such a thing as a hvac reflash that could be done?
i think we can confidently confirm that there is no question this is a design flaw. it will never get fixed by fca until the 6th gen comes out, or they somehow can miraculously come up with a band-aid similar to the valve, but then that would point the fingers directly at fca. so my uneducated...
it'll be on a sticker on the frame front driver side marked (mdh) for month day hour however not year so that info could be found within the vin #. i dont think it's encoded on the window sticker either just month/day...
I don't have any shake...just wanted to say be firm with the dealer if you're going to ask about the clicking issue. they'll try to tell you its just the brake light relay or something along those lines. imo I think many have this clicking noise do to how the retainer/cup/push rod is...
he's full of $hit...not even remotely accurate...do i know what it is? no, but i can 100% bet the farm it's not the cam tensioner... i'd say what some others are thinking and that's the starter/flywheel combo making the noise.
