2020 Big Horn - Ridiculous they still are leaking

So about 2 months later it sprung a leak again. Very tiny drop hanging from the top trim near the middle. Truck has sat outside in very heavy rain prior to this but today was the first time driving in a heavy rain since the"fix". I'm thinking it's still the 3rd brake light and driving had a...

    Paint defect

Yeah I can attest to the fragility of this paint. Someone leaned against the bed to help load a tree and all he had on was a t-shirt and somehow the paint scratched. Luckily some light scratch remover took it out.

    Air conditioning Hack

I feel like some days my truck will cool down and feel colder and then some days it takes a long time to cool down and never really gets all that cold. This is with similar outside temps. I do notice it gets colder when on auto for some reason, but I don't like how auto is only the main vents...

Tailgate Down - extended time with weight load

Only thing you need to be worried about is rock chips on your tailgate. Not saying you will get them, but you have a good chance of getting stones flying up from the highway and your tires when driving. My previous truck I drove a few miles with the tailgate down and ended up with a few small...

Leaking cab and the dealership “fix”

My dealer used black RTV for my leaking brake light too. I wasn't happy about it, but so far it has not leaked since the "fix". I had a case open with Ram as well through Ram Cares and I told the person assigned to my case that I didn't like the fix, but she didn't seem to really care. I asked...

    2021 Ram changes

I heard they are adding a new water feature in the cabin. In all seriousness, I hope they figure out how to keep the rain out and a new back window.

    A/C Performance

Yeah, same here. Mines cold enough that I wouldn't want my dash ripped apart.

    A/C Performance

Not sure if anyone posted this before (34 pages is too long to search through), but I noticed my AC is sub par when in manual ac or max ac, but if I switch it to Auto it feels colder. Only thing I don't like about Auto is that the fan is in full speed for a little while until it gets down to...

2020 Big Horn - Ridiculous they still are leaking

I'm wondering if it has something to do how the 3rd brake light is tightened. I think it needs to be tightened from the middle first before tightening the outside screws in order to get the gasket to fully compress. My light gasket was not as compressed in the middle as it was at the ends. By...

    Rear window surround crack.

That's how they fixed mine. Only had one mild rain storm so far and it was not leaking. If we ever have to replace a brake light bulb it's going to be a pain, but I may just end up putting that seal a lot of people on here got from Lowes if that happens.

    Rear window surround crack.

Ram must have known the truck was going to leak and designed the headliner so that it cleans easily. haha

2020 Big Horn - Ridiculous they still are leaking

Funny you mention the tighten from center to outside. I'm wondering if they do it the opposite at the factory, because I noticed on my leaking third brake light that the outside weather stripping was more compressed than the center. More than likely mine was leaking in the center area where it...

    Driver Window Issue

I haven't noticed that issue yet, but I have noticed the button is very sensitive and will activate the auto up and auto down very easy. You have to just barely touch it to choose how far you want it down or up and if you press just a little too hard it will activate the auto up/down feature...

    Lemon Law Experiences

I went through this process on my previous vehicle in Pennsylvania. Process was pretty much painless. Contacted a lemon law firm, gave them the information about my vehicle and the problem. They asked for me to send over all my records from when it went to the dealer for service. They said...

    Scratches under clear coat

It did bother me for a little, but since it's above eye level I never see it unless I go out of my way to look up, which I don't. I was too afraid that the dealer fix would cause some other issue that is way more noticable on the main part of the door. I would assume to do a repaint, they...

    Scratches under clear coat

Mine was definitely done at the factory, unless someone was really skilled at clearcoat repair, but not paint touch up. My defect is under the clear and the other one some how push out from the inside.

    Scratches under clear coat

Yeah, it bothered me for a little, but to be honest I never look up there anymore, so I don't see it. The photo makes it look worse because I waited for optimal conditions and found the perfect angle to take the photo. If that was down at eye level like on the door, then I would have it fixed.

    Scratches under clear coat

My truck has a defect under the clear coat as well. Luckily it's at the very top of my door near the roof line, so I rarely notice it. It's most noticeable in dim light (like in the picture below), but when sunny (like it was during delivery) you don't really see. At first glance it looks like...

2020 Big Horn - Ridiculous they still are leaking

Sounds like you can pursue lemon law pretty soon.

2020 Big Horn - Ridiculous they still are leaking

Are they sure it's actually the brake light? Maybe it's the shark fin?
