I don't have any underneath pics of the tips right now because it's raining, but I have attached pics of the tips when I initially got them centered the best I could and then pics of all the pieces prior to install. Was it really obvious you got the wrong tailpipe when fitting? My driver side...
Installed Borla Touring cat back. Overall install wasn't too bad, but having some fitment issues with the tips. The driver side I can adjust more easily to center the tips, but the passenger side is very stubborn. I also notice the muffler is pretty close to the frame and the pipe that goes...
I thought mine tapped the window too when I first started folding them in to keep birds from fighting with their reflection and ****ting on my truck. It makes a thump but they actually don't touch the glass. I took a piece of paper and put it between the mirror and the window and there is a...
I'd probably lemon the truck if it was in the shop for 7 weeks. In PA if the truck is in the shop for over 30 days in the first year of ownership it can be lemoned.
My 2020 Bighorn with cloth seats get nice and toasty. Same for the steering wheel. I usually have to turn off the steering after a few minutes and put the seats on low, otherwise they are too warm. I even have seat covers, although they are very thin.
My truck is coated with Opti Coat Pro Plus. It has a 7 year warranty. So far I'm in one year with it. It does make clean up easier and noticed the truck stays cleaner longer (rain does a good job rinsing dirt off compared to non-coated vehicle). Would I get this again? Probably not.
I've...
Does this new rear window look any different than the one that was on from factory? I think this is the supposed new updated part based on the part number on your invoice.
I can feel mine switch out and in MDS and well. It's also sorta noisy in MDS, kinda like it's pinging even when I put 93 octane in it. I usually noticed the noise when the engine is just lugging up a slight incline. Seems like it is struggling and for some reason stays in MDS when it should...
I have the exact same signs sound as you describe on my 2020. Is your Eco light on when this happens? Mine does it when MDS is active under slight load. Goes away once mds disengages.
I'd fight hard with FCA on this, as it is most definitely a well documented manufacturer defect. I'd contact a lemon law lawyer in your state as well. It might not be eligible for lemon law, but there are other things such as the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act that might be applicable here.
I have the stock exhaust and I can feel when the MDS turns on/off. There is a slight clunk felt when MDS turns off when I give it more gas. There is also a noticeable pinging/metallic sound when in MDS under slight load. I'm having the dealer check this out to see if it's normal when i go for...
Yeah, I'm wondering why they didn't post what the repair involves. I'm a bit worried it's gonna be a big job ripping the dash apart. If that's the case I'll deal with the sub par AC.
I'd find a new dealer to work with. I also understand your frustration. These trucks should not be leaking, but Ram seems to keep pushing out leaky trucks from the assembly line. Mine has leaked twice so far in the 10 months I own it. My previous trucks (not ram) never leaked.
One more water leak on mine, and I believe it's eligible for Lemon Law under the state of Pennsylvania. I can't believe how many people are having water leaks from different parts of the truck. You would think they would be able to keep the third brake light from leaking after all these years...
