I almost bought the truck from Tyson in Shorewood IL (dealt with Jason). Was a great deal (6% below invoice + incentives (couple targeted) -> $13,500+ off Big Horn), but decided against it at the last minute (prefer full console vs bench, which the truck had). Haven't pulled the trigger, yet -...
If they changed it intentionally, they screwed it up big time. You used to be able to search by power train (V6, Hemi, Hemi eTorque), but that option is gone. Not smart.
Hmmm.... Just got off the phone with a salesperson - inquiring about the latest rebates/incentives/pricing.... What a shocker.... According to him, the "Big Horn Pkg Discount - $2300" is already included in the MSRP (says so on the window sticker). Seriously?
I had one of the "dirty" Jetta TDIs for almost 5 years (THANK YOU VW!). If you read the VW forums, you would never buy one, because of the wide spread problem with disintegrating HPFPs. For me, though, it was one of the - if not THE - best cars I ever owned. 80K miles and literally not a...
Check again... There were no incentives in the morning for anything other than Big Horn in Midwest, but right now they're showing $4250 for Laramie and $1750 for Rebel/Laramie Longhorn/Limited.
Edit:
And of course, the incentives continue to be slightly confusing... If you look at the...
I would like to buy a stripped down Laramie with V6, but unfortunately can’t configure it with the center console (have to select Level 1). Maybe a visit to the dealer is in order.
What a deal! Local dealer has one of those too. Lifetime car washes, 2 oil changes, door edge guards, 2 year windshield protection and I think 2 year key fob(s) protection. All this for a mere $2500.
Without any additional incentives, I think you should be able to get between $11,500 to $12,000 off. If I remember correctly, the “invoice” on a $48k Big Horn is a hair over $45k, and one of the dealers I dealt with offered 6% below that + all rebates/incentives. FWIW, I’m also in Illinois.
Oh so close... Almost bought my new Ram today, but the purchase will have to wait.
Since V6 Big Horns are so scarce around here (Chitown), decided to look at Hemis with eTorque.
MSRP - $47,985 (4x4, CC, 5'7", Level 2 package). Agreed in principle on 6% below invoice (~$42K) - incentives ($8k...
I’m currently looking at V6 Big Horn with MSRP of $45,525. The dealers first (and hopefully not last) offer is $33,176. That takes into consideration $7k in rebates ($1k Penfed, $1k Truck Owner Conquest, and $500 NAR Member). Hoping to do little better (ha!).
Would you mind sharing the salesperson’s name? I’m emailing back and forth with Napleton in AH, and we’re circling around without much progress. They have a Bighorn in stock (with substantial discount), that I might be interested in, but unfortunately whoever is emailing me, won’t answer a...
