Well, my AVS Aeroskin lasted 24 hours. Another high heat day today and two spots at the curve of the hood began to separate. I pulled it off to replace and add more new 3M tape. It scratched up pretty bad in the process of removing the original tape even though I placed it on a soft surface. $80...
Walked outside at 5:30 this morning with the intention of doing a full paint correction but it’s just too damn hot. She still got pampered with a strip wash, iron decontamination, another strip wash, clay bar, Mothers Chrome Polish, ISPA wipe down followed by Turtle Wax Seal and Shine. Slapped...
Haha, I may have to do that one day for lunch. Phoenix is a vacation. They are 7 degrees cooler than where I live today.

Temp getting in my truck today at my shop and actual temp driving down the road. I think it’s time for the ac hack next week.

Nice! Definitely on my list. Until then I’m using my baofeng with a 14” whip. With the usb charge cable plugged in so I don’t lose any charge it’s been working surprisingly well.

Nice drop! Looks like I’m going to have to install the solenoid valve that I have at my shop before we hit 120 highs here.

Thank you! I really wanted a paint matched aeroskin but they don’t make one in bright white. Looks like I’m ordering chrome because that looks great! I appreciate it.

Could you post a picture of your front end? I’ve been looking at that low profile bug deflector in chrome but I’ve been worried it would be too much added chrome.

I had to balance it out with another decal and I...
Thanks. I went with them because of their carrying capacity, the t-channel through the whole bar, and they have an anchor point for straps on each side.

Thanks! It definitely solves the storage problem I was having. My decision is solely based on storage and has nothing to do with camping with my buddies and the kayak I’m looking at buying. The things I have to say to not upset the wife on stacks of yakima packages showing up.

Lost over a foot of bed space from my Gen 4 to the new truck. Installed yakima hd bars with an off grid basket to make up for it for camping and long vacations. Pretty happy with the results!
