She’s a brute. Hoping she makes a full recovery and doesn’t have to retire from hunting. Either way it was worth the investment to get her back up and walking.

Drove the truck to go pick up my Chocolate Labrador from surgery. Officially the most expensive dove season in my life. I have some more upgrades for the truck already on their way but after paying for this hardware I’m closing my wallet for a bit.

My front shocks are finally set for delivery today after waiting for over a month. I’m glad I didn’t cancel as pricing increased since I ordered. Now to get some machinery out of my shop so I can pull the truck in next week.

No problem. The biggest deal breaker for me was the aesthetic of them and the exposed bolt from the rear flap. I set them in place and couldn’t get over it so looked for an alternative.

I’ve been using weathertech products for as long as I can remember and love their floor liners. I had the same complaint about covering the bins but it’s proven to not be that big of an issue.
I ordered the weathertech mudflaps and put them on for a dry fit and absolutely hated the look and...
I’m tempted but I’m too deal driven. Have front and rear 5100s on order for $350 total. I’ll probably wait out my back order.

I really like the Aeroskin but after one day it hit 122 here and two spots at the curve of the hood began to separate from the hood. If I bought one again I know exactly where I’d put a couple more strips of 3M tape. I’m pretty happy with how the bolt on version looks now though.

After trying the AVS Aeroskin which was a disaster I put on the good ol tried and true AVS bolt on chrome deflector today. I’m pretty happy with it.

This is next on my list. Would you mind providing heights at the front and rear wheel wells at setting #5 since your truck has settled? I’m torn between #4 and #5 because I’m not sure if #5 is going to give me enough of the rake that I want. I went two high on my Gen4 and definitely felt it at...
Only two here. I was born into a Ford house then bought a 2006 Tundra which threw dirt in everyone’s eyes.
2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn with 5.7 Hemi. Was a great truck but needed a bigger cab for the family, 4x4, and larger towing capacity. Sold her 2 weeks ago to a guy that lives about a mile from...
I feel for you! I have pretty bad luck denting up my trucks and I can’t stand looking at them so they instantly go to the body shop as well. I “joke” with my body shop guy regularly that I put his kid through college.

Ouch! If it makes you feel any better 3 days after I bought my 2016 Gen4 Big Horn I caught the corner of a trailer with my front fender in my shop. That required a replacement fender and repainting my driver’s side door all before the first payment.
I hope that ping pong table sold for around...
Thanks for this! I saw your review on amazon too and stole the placement. Slapped them on today and now I may just drive around the block in reverse tonight.

In that case my only assumption is that I got a defective one. Hood was free of any imperfections and followed prep to a T and still got separation occurring at the curves on either side at the top of the hood. The rest of it was sitting flush and square. I’ll have to debate giving the Aeroskin...
