this is great news....renting a pickup truck is easy, but you are not allowed to tow with them and they typically do not have a brake controller, so you have to use United Rentals, Herc (Hertz Commercial), or Enterprise Commercial, which of course is $800-1000 per week
I made sure to get a new service record
I’ve also saved all emails ands texts (the dealer has a text system)
hopefully it doesn’t come to this, but I’m making sure I’m lined up with all details in that event
My 2021 Ram 1500 has been in the shop 3 times now for the exact same problem, this last time they had it for 3 weeks straight and replaced a number of parts...they test drove it and said it was good, but in less than 1 mile of the leaving the service center, all of the same warnings and...
Update:
The truck was in at dealer again, this for just over 3 weeks
they replaced the hood sensor (again) and replaced the pcm
then I was told it was driven 40-50 miles with no errors and it’s now fixed
I take off work early, rearrange my life, then go pickup the the truck,…I get less than...
my 2021 has had the Start/Stop light occasionally popping on at random intervals
11k miles
The truck still idles end drives fine, no misfires or such
however I was sitting at a traffic light 🚦, start/stop was on (engine was off) and the warning light popped on and my truck would not restart...
0 offset is going to be 5" backspace on a 9" rim,...You would be better with a 1.25" spacer, that puts you at -13 offset and you will clear the lugs without trimming (if you have the wheel pockets)
Also...only buy BORA spacers, they are proven safe and smart
The 305 Terra Grappler is a 12.1...
factory offset on the 20x9 is +19,....so that means +1 offset is 18mm further out than stock (less than 3/4") and will be more flush with the fender
since you are going with the Michelin Defender LTX 275/50R20, I'm assuming you are wanting a city truck stance....so the +1 offset on a 9" rim...
1. remove a wheel from your truck, and confirm you have the pockets between the lugs, there are a few varieties of Night Edition wheels, the 20x9 has them.
- In this specific case, the 20” wheel offers very good clearance for all components (UCA’s and brake calipers)
2. BORA spacers only...
I’m no expert, but I can math decently
backspace and offset are 2 different ways to measure the same
backspace is simple math just like you said....measure mounting surface to the rear rim outer surface using a straightedge and a precision measurement. This measurement is typically expressed...
with the custom tune, do you have any other power adder parts....or is it a stock truck with a custom tune?
next question is it a stock computer flash or is there still a piggyback device that you are flashing and did you lose any mpg as i do enjoy eco mode on my daily 75 mile commute
whoa whoa whoa...
1.
high quality, hub-centric, 1-2" spacers do not put any more stress on the bearings differently than a wider wheel with correct offset...that's an old wives tale that's been disproved many times. If you are using 6" ****ty ebay spacers,...yes, you are going to die
- the key...
I want to get the 2.5-75 front lift,...I have a non-ORP 4wd
I have the 5100's and the Mopar UCA's, the question...should I use clip #7 (I've heard is harsher?), or should I order ORP front springs and run the 5100's @ clip #5 for best ride quality?
Or is there another front coil that is a...
I'm going to be getting my 5100's installed along with the Mopar UCA's (with TimberGrove helper bags in the back which is a .75 lift)
my truck is a standard crew cab 4x4, no off-road kit
My question: I'm trying to decide which clip position/lift that I want to use
I would like to go with the...
