Reporting back. Mine was simply the battery saver.
I added AA to my list of exceptions and now AA comes up on my radio immediately, without me even taking the phone out of my pocket.
I've been reading up. Someone on the 1500 diesel forum got rid of the squeak. The solution was to open up the plastic cover and spray some lithium grease inside.

They work exactly like an electronic...
The mark of a sh*t driver.
Forget whatever caused him/her to smash into your camper. After hitting you, they were so shell-shocked that they lost all capacity to function and stop their f*cking car. Those are the type of people who's brains are running on 3-cylinders, all the time. Unless...
I live in Florida, so I win by default.
In 23 years of driving and riding motorcycles. I learned that the most dangerous drivers on the road are the ones who sit like this:
Doesn't matter if you're in your 20s or 80s, if your hands are at 12 and fu*king 12, you're probably 30min away from...
I used to Uber a few years back. I live near the water and there was a pickup request close to my house, except it was about 1000ft out in the middle of the bay.
I said F*k it, I'll drive that way and see what's up. At the very least, I'll collect $5 for a no-show. Problem was, I couldn't...
I've only owned my truck a month. I got an email the day it was delivered and an email a few days ago. I assumed that was the norm. A bit creepy, but I realize I have a connected vehicle that basically works like my cell phone.
Also, as I wrote the last reply, I came up with a theory:
I keep Battery Saver on my phone, all the time. It prevents crap from running in the background and draining my battery. It's possible that my Battery saver is putting AA to sleep when it's not on-screen. That could be preventing it...
I have the same issue with my LG V60, I've come up with a solution that kinda sucks, but it works.
Real quick, AA works like this:
1. Truck turns on, automatically establishes a Bluetooth connection with the phone. Basic Bluetooth features should work.
2. The Phone and Truck initiate AA, the...
I'm on the fence with the front/rear braking sensors.
On one hand, I bought the truck and the advanced safety package for that purpose. A little over a year ago, I rear-ended an old lady and it became a fiasco. She stopped in the middle of the intersection and I was checking my shoulder to...
Nice, I'll check it out when I get home. I know I have a T-20 driver.
I also found the video below. Despite the video showing the interior trim removed, it's clear that they didn't need to remove the trim to get the outside handle off:
I'd understand if it was a temperature thing, but it's just a pair of butterfly valves, I don't really understand why they need to continuously actuate (or whatever they're doing) for 5 minutes after the truck has been shut off.
A great example from a few minutes ago. I've been parked at work...
I've owned, I think 5 vehicles with some form of built-in voice control. I don't think I've ever used any of them outside of the first day of ownership. I think I did use it for a single command in one of my BMWs, but only because it took too long to get to the screen through the menus. As far...
Same, I'm using Amazon Music. Perhaps it's just linked to the Amazon app. Yea, try the power button, really quick off and on seems to get my sound back.
I'll have to look. I guess there is no good solution.
I'm either taking the door panel off of a 1-month old truck, or I'm waiting 3 days for a tech to take a door panel off a 1-month old truck.
