Mine was status BA and had a VON. Ram Chat confirmed the VON and provided me my VIN the following day. Doesn’t seem to be any “it will be this way and it means this” at all. All cases seem different, with different combinations of status’ and VON and time-to-VIN.

I’d go option #2. Best to put them in notice early, especially if you have a non refundable deposit on the line. But you can try Ram Chat and ask them to confirm the date the order was received to our that issue to rest, one way or the other.

The point is that they're basically the same option + 2 items. So if one of those 2 items is also being completely deleted because of chip shortages, it is an odd situation. Just more evidence that they're trying to streamline largely duplicative options.

The HK stereo is a weird one. There are two packages that include it, at least for the Limited trim, so did each of those packages just lose it and get cheaper? The HK system isn't an option all it's own, is it? I don't recall seeing it sold separately. What about the group 1 equipment package...

That seems like an unusual order of events, and I'm not sure why they'd run your credit 3 months before you actually do financing, but I hope it all works out and you get the order!

I ran into something similar with the HK system being included in both the equipment and night packages, both of which I selected. But the price of the level 1 option reduced when both were selected, and the HK stopped showing under that option and only showed on the night. Seems to be multiple...

Odd considering all the advanced safety package items are included in the level 1 package anyway. Almost seems like they're just trying to streamline things more and funnel people to the level 1 vs having two very similar packages. Was this for a placed order or still in the quoting stage?

I just started a chat to confirm that my order from yesterday morning had been received/accepted. She confirmed it was, said my VIN was also available, and gave it to me. Wasn’t expecting it but she offered it up.

I just went through Ram Chat who confirmed my order was received, as-is without any changes to the options selected and is in scheduling status. She also gave me my VIN which was an awesome surprise! I’ll post that in the order tracking thread :-) thanks for all the guidance!

Thanks. On the POC it’s in “status” BA and build order 99. But I’ll check in with him Monday. I’ve only ever ordered from Ford before and the Vin was sent directly from Ford to me for tracking. Does it come from the dealership with Ram?

I placed my order yesterday morning for a Limited and wasn't told anything was off the table. My selections included packages that include the HK sound system and I received a POC/VON with the packages listed so I'm hoping I'm good!
