You can measure the tire manually to get a close measurement in inches. Then fine tune it with a speedometer app. Just don’t plug it in to the truck while you’re doing it
I was able to get it to engage by tapping in the actuator. Guess it was stuck. Now it engages flawlessly within seconds.
Going to take it off one of these days and see if it can be greased/lubricated
Was thinking some spray lubricant, or grease.
Used it a few more times yesterday. it engaged 4 hi flawlessly within seconds. Guess it needed to get beat to wake up.
Going to try again and still need to test 4 lo
I managed to get it to engage. Heated a bit with the heat gun, but had to tap on it to make it finish the process. None of the modes worked, not even 4 lo as some have tried.
I wonder if I could remove it and grease it?
If not I’ll probably need a new one.
Well this issue has got me now. It’s freezing temps and I can’t get 4wd auto to work. I cycle it monthly to make sure it works.
Really want to use it to get on the road today and there’s still lots of ice.
Should I heat it with my heat gun?
it’s been freezing temps here since Tuesday. I need to get on the road and want to use 4wd high. Now getting the service 4wd error. I hear the actuator trying to do its thing. The light will blink for like 10 min before getting the error.
Is there anything I can do to try and get this working...
Well, Sleepy Joe told us on his final foreign policy speech that we are stronger now than we were 4 years ago. I can sleep well now.
