That did show up in the radio. I cannot recall if it was immediate or took a short period of time, however, I do not recall any of the mods taking any significant amount of time to work.
I dont know that it does show up on the radio. I will have to look. Mine just shows up in the center EVIC.
Did you make the same changes I posted above?
You are correct. I think it is mostly the metal parts that require machining like cases and gears that are still made in the US. I dont know for sure but I would not bet against the electronics being made overseas. Unfortunately, my bias would be against the electronic parts failing before...
I've been using this one since 2019 on a couple of Jeeps and my Ram with JSCAN. It used to be recommended by JSCAN (I think) but no longer is. Regardless, I have not had a problem with it. I have had more issues with the damn bypass holding on to the truck side connectors too tightly and having...
I am likely contradicting myself and making an unpopular suggestion...if you are rarely going to use the winch there is some consideration to getting the best you can afford to make sure it works when you need it. Getting a full-size truck stuck is no small event so you will probably really need...
The only brake controllers that will display on the dash are the OE Mopar ones. Installing one of those should not be a problem. When I ordered my truck I spec'd the brake controller but they forgot to put it on so it was a dealer-installed accessory. You can also DIY it with something like...
This thread is actually set up pretty well to help from having to sort through all 63 pages. On page 1 of this thread there is a PDF that walks you through the process. Post 2 should be the situation you have and explains what is needed for parts.
Programmed the "Tailgate open" alert on my 2200 Big Horn after installing the correct hardware. Could not have been easier.
Adaption> search for Ajar> Tailgate Ajar Indication.
Change from "Deactivated" to "Activate"
Adaption> search for Ajar> Trunk Ajar Signal Input Present- On/Off...
I dont know if this helps but here is a Reddit post where a person replaced their battery. Doesn't look like it is easily replaceable, at least on their version. The battery is soldered in.
There are similar threads over at HDrams so you might have better luck over there....this is mainly 1500's although some of the heavy hitters of knowledge frequent both.
Thanks @boogielander , I just read through your great build thread. I appreciate the advice and was thinking about the mismatched shock issue. The Fox might be more than I need since I do not boogie regularly. I will examine the differences between the Bilstein's and determine which would be best.
Hello, I have a Backcountry which is a Big Horn with ORP along with some other options. I am sure this has come up but I am not having luck with the search function.
I would like to keep the stock wheels and go with some Falken WildPeak A/T4W's in 35x11.5R18..specs can be seen here. Looking...
