So I have an appointment this morning to replace front pads. Two hours at dealer and they cannot locate the pads. Come back tomorrow. This will be trip 10 to get brakes resolved. RAM service is NO help. No has not called me back. Three messages left on different days. Not worth having this...
Good News! First my dealership I have been working with said no front pads in stock with no ETA. I passed by a dealer in Memphis TN while traveling for work and was told 140 sets of front brake pads were released on 2/11. Part number is 68412557AC.
I will have had both back brake pads...
I am told basic warrant on brakes expire after 12k miles. My truck now has 10k. My rear brake pads were replaced and they no longer make noise. However , my front right still does. Service dept ordered front brake pad and I am told they are on back order. I have had the truck in six...
I have now new to the service department 5 separate times dating back to September to address the noise from my rear brakes. This week on Monday, they replaced the pads. Today I heard the noise several times today. I just don’t know what to do anymore.
Folks I am pleased to report the ram service team has helped me finally get new pads. I went today to have the rear pads changed out only to be told they had to order. So five trips and going on my 6th this Monday. Hopeful that the new pads will stop the squeel. As nice as these trucks are, I...
I really like my truck and have had people stop me in parking lots to check it out. However, as nice as it is, mine has been in the shop five separate times. I have owned it since August. Needless to say, as nice as it looks and how much I like the concept, five times is not right...
I am at dealer today and provided the star case # s18050000008. We looked together at this and it applies to the front brakes only. It mentioned rear brakes would be addressed at a later date. The star case is dates 10/20 or about that time. All they will do is grease like others have...
question. Dealer is saying that they heard a leaking caliper has caused the brakes to squeak. He also said if the caliper is not leaking they would lubricate. IF the noise remains then that is normal.
I owned a 2017 4x4 regular and traded it for the 2019 4x4 and it included the off road package. The price on it was several thousand less from the dealership so I took advantage of it.
At first, I didn't notice a difference but as I drove it more I can tell its not as smooth of a ride...
I truly regret purchasing my 2019 RAM. I had a great truck with my 2012 Longhorn, swapped for a 2017 Longhorn and it too was excellent. Bought into the hype of the 2019 and it was a Huge mistake. Dealer sold me the truck I wanted. A Longhorn 4x4 Hemi with adaptive cruise and the 12 inch...
