thank you, i've actually read this and did this mod. it worked well in preventing the top of the tailgate from rubbing when its closed, but the bottom of the tailgate still rubs the rear quarter under the brake light when the tailgate is in the down position. theres so much play in these...
it's 1.8x3 inches. I like it a lot, had one on my 4th gen for a while and held up great

One of my favorite mods.... stickers
also put this on:
and finally installed some PPF along where the rear quarter panel meets my tailgate. The bottom of the tailgate rubs ever so slightly when closing and opening it. Rubbed a little bit of paint off the gate, glad I caught it to hopefully...
Any thoughts on a manual transmission option? I know it’s unlikely.... but there’s a few articles out there thinking it could be an option. Curious if anyone here has seen anything on that. Can’t wait to see the reveal tomorrow
yeah i ran their muffler delete off amazon right when i got my truck. it was good quality, two pieces but zero leaks anywhere. I liked it but it was too loud with the resonator deletes as well
This. They should be able to do a swap for you before you sign for it. Should be low cost to them and you’ll know everything is hooked up as it should be
I have an uniden. You could get the R1 for under that price, it’s the same thing as the R3 but without gps lockouts. You might be able to get the R3 on sale for under $250 tho. I picked uniden over escort, it was a tough decision but after many reviews and YouTube videos later, I felt uniden was...
You won’t mess anything up, you can apply it as often as you want. It’s probably overkill tho since it will last for a few months. With that said, I apply similar product about every 2 weeks and my truck always looks great, but definitely not necessary from a protection standpoint. Not hurting...
truck looks awesome with those wheels! sorry to throw this off topic... how do you like your tow mirrors? i've heard many people say they dislike them and have bad blind spots. i love the idea of them and how they look and would like to pick some up
Has your black paint on your bumper chipped from highway driving? I didn’t even think about getting paint protection film because it looks a lot tougher than normal paint. But I could be wrong
i use adams h20 guard and gloss as a drying aid. i wash and rinse, spray the h20 guard and gloss as i dry each panel, and my trucks protected for 6+ months and beads water like crazy. i do this at least once every 2 weeks tho :ROFLMAO: .
The stuff is easy to use and no streaking with a good...
definitely disagree lol im comparing those cheap guys that come in a huge pack for like $10 at autozone versus ones that i sent . have you used something similar before?
does it say that somewhere on the bottle? I've always understood that you should put the most protective layer down first. in this case ceramic is much stronger than old school wax. that's interesting if they recommend to wax it first. most ceramic/sio2 spray waxes ive seen are effective as...
i haven't used it so i cant speak from experience, but something like that should work well. the issue i think youre having is when your remove the product tho, which is when he's using the purple microfiber. That's when you would use a good quality microfiber towel, and you won't have any...
