I actually didn’t even try as a I was happy with the price they gave me. It was far better than I did anywhere else in the Central Florida area with that fee. I thought the black rails only come if you order the MOPAR tonneau cover? Someone mentioned getting black rails because they ordered the Bed Utility Group. Is it a coin toss as to whether a factory order comes with silver vs black rails??

Did your dealer swap the black rails for the silver for no charge?

RAM Chat is now telling my order is in the "Trim Stage". Any idea where that leaves me time wise for shipping and delivery? Thanks.

RAM Chat told on 12/28 that my truck was still awaiting to be built. My dealer told me a few days ago it’s estimated ship date is 1/7. Doesn’t seem to add up. This process of tracking an order seems like a crap shoot.

Ordered on 12/2, VIN received on 12/4. The truck had been in “pre production phase with all parts available” since 12/9. It’s still in that status as of today, 12/28 with no estimate on when the build will start from RAM Chat. Anyone know what kind of timeline I’m looking at now for a delivery...

Agreed. Just order it. Lakeland offers 7% below invoice with the Tread Lightly membership and then whatever rebates/incentives are available at the time of delivery.

What were the fees? My order with Lakeland is $800 (dealer fee I think, which they all charge in FL anyways) and tag and title fees. Pretty standard from what I’ve seen.

There was some discussion in a previous thread that you could be denied your warranty coverage if FCA found out your vehicle is titled and registered in FL and you used a different address to purchase your extended warranty. I’d hate to find that out after dropping $2K+ on a warranty.

Thanks. I thought I read somewhere that the address for the warranty had to match the state in which the vehicle is registered or it could void the warranty coverage?
