Here is my Borla ATAK Crate Muffler (400844). First clip is with resonators and Borla muffler, next is cold start after resonator delete and third is warm start resonator delete.
I do not have the resonator delete pipes installed as I can not get to them at my work due to COVID restrictions...
Wouldn't the PCM also track mileage, etc which would be visible to FCA?
Not new to tuning, but not super experienced either. I had a 17 Camaro SS prior to the ram with a supercharger, catless longtubes, CAI and upgraded cooling. Put 605HP to the rear wheels, but I traded it in before anything...
Have not heard the Flowmaster Outlaw in person, but neighbor down the street has the B2 Fab straight pipe. I thought it sounded pretty good up at the dealership before I realized it was my neighbor.
I have a Borla Crate muffler which would be similar in cost to the Flowmaster Outlaw and will be...
Auto Tow Mode – remembers the last state of Tow mode and will set it on start-up
Thought I had seen it on their site. Looks like you can if you turn it on once and leave on when you shut the truck off and do not remove the tazer plugin.
Yea, I have the download here with me, but really want to make sure I am truly making the cut at 1" past the bend. Might seem a bit easier once I get under the truck, but I am always a measure twice cut once kind of guy. If I have to wait then I have to wait...our county just issued a stay at...
Anyone have pictures of the install? I ask because I do not have the pipes in hand...COVID closures and my package is at the office...company won't allow employees in the offices at this time. I'd like to cut out my resonators this week to see what it sounds like, but don't want to mess the cut up.
All very good points. I don't have a fuel allowance or company gas card so mileage is a bit of a concern to me. That said my normal 60 miles round trip commute has dropped to a 15ft walk from bedroom to office during the COVID stuff. I may try tow/haul just to see what it does for me and if...
Not sure if you care or not, but putting the truck in tow/haul mode will burn more gas than without. I have used the gear limiter set to 8th and it didn't seem to effect gas mileage, or if it did it was minimal. With tow/haul though it should be holding the lower gears longer prior to shifting...
Got my tires put on today.
285/55R22 on stock wheels. No spacers.
I am currently leveled with Revel Links only. Approx 0.5in rake.
need to trim 2mm of fender liner that rubs in reverse.need to align the truck though so it may not run following alignment. Next up is the Daystars and maybe new...
I've wondered the same thing. Or even what the truck sounds like with ZERO resonators!
Even if the resonators are removed you can eliminate drone by using a Helmholtz or J-Pipe. In the case of the V8 to 4CYL you would need 2 separate pipes in order to make it eliminate both frequencies. We will...
Great write up Ben. Your experience with over torquing is why I don't feel comfortable doing myself. Last time I worked on suspension on my 17 Camaro SS I sheared off the top of the strut...on my daily driver. Luckily my mother lives close by and works from home...BMW for the win for a couple...
Check this thread. Works the same for 2WD as 4WD. Welcome to the forum and go get your truck leveled and some new tires or wheels/tires.
I have a 19 Limited 4WD, currently only have the Revel Links installed, but installing the Day Star spacers hopefully in the next week or so. Have 285/55R22...
