2022 Uconnect 5 Traffic and Weather

I have noticed if I start messing with the screen too soon after start up it will cause traffic and weather to not load.

Lets See Your BackCountry Trim Trucks!!

Mine sits a tad off also, at first I thought I put something under it that was too large. It honestly doesn't bother me though, they are still comfortable, I have carted around some family with zero complaints.

    Engine shutting down while driving

I got a recall notice about this issue and took mine in to the dealer. It never died, but I got the recall software update to avoid it ....hopefully.

I think if I went camping I would use the back seat in mine.

Mine did the same, the reset then no user profile for 3 days fixed it.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Well, I have had it less than a week, but happy so far, only issue I have is that the rack has a whistle on the highway. The Synetic just had the features I wanted for a decent price.

Poor quality on Back-Up Camera on 2022 Tradesmen

I wonder if anyone ever peeled off the clear plastic protective film off the lens?

What did you do to your Ram today???

Added the rack to the tonneau today after a stop at the dealer for oil change, tire rotation and recall repair. 4500 miles, but I'll be putting on a lot of miles in the next 2 weeks and wanted the recall done, so got the service too.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I like it, it has a different lock mechanism than is shown on the Amazon listing, but it is the style I prefer with no external lock parts. Open tailgate and turn a knob and it rolls up, yank on the strap to pull it closed.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Not bad quality, it kept the bed dry, easy to open and to fully remove, lightweight but awkward to carry. 2 main reasons I swapped was the inability to use it with ladder style racks, and security, vinyl cuts a lot easier than aluminum.

    RAM Wave?

I don't think my fingers bend like that anymore.

    SQUEEK/CHIRP COMING FROM REAR DRIVERSIDE..HELP!!

Free parts are never bad. It was probably left loose to be tightened after the skid was installed.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Removed the stock tri-fold soft tonneau and installed a retractable aluminum one from Syneticusa. It came with racks too, going to install those later.

    Rear running lights

Usually a fuse, bulb or wiring issue. Probably not bulb if both are out.

2022 Uconnect 5 Traffic and Weather

Did you avoid creating a user profile for a couple days after doing the factory reset? Not sure the specific reason for that, but it seems to be part of the fix. It took about 2 days for mine to work and once it began working I set the profile and it has been working since.

    10ft dune flag mount options?

Maybe buy an L bracket to mount behind your license plate, then bolt the flag on it.

Lets See Your BackCountry Trim Trucks!!

I'm 50/50 on the side steps, not really a fan of the looks of them, but they are great functionally. They collect a lot of dust on the country roads, but save the body from rocks kicked up. I'll probably swap to some tube rails with steps next year.
