Like Av1, mine didn't work for a month after I bought it, an update and hard reset and it has worked since. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to show, I assume it is just connecting and downloading the current info.

Actually the main reason I got a truck with heated seats was because of my wife. She has back problems and uses the heated seat like a therapeutic heating pad. I used them once, when sleeping at a rest area in freezing temps. Where as she uses them every time she is in my truck.

As far as the leak being classified as a recall, it should be, as it can cause corrosion to the air bag components. I assume there hasn't been documented malfunction as to why they haven't pushed it to recall for that reason.

Yes, the interior LEDs are part of getting the pano roof.

Yeah, the mat can be a PITA, but most people don't know those bins exist, so being hidden under the mat keeps them oblivious.
