I notice you got the trailer tow group...did the dealer tell you that the tow mirrors are not power folding and you lose your 360 cameras? That would bother me more than the CD player if I wasn't told about that whole debacle.

Before you switch out the rails, take a look at the Gator Hybrid folding tonneau. I have the BUG with black rails, and the Gator Hybrid works with them.

FWIW, I bought my truck on 6/30, and if it had been 7/2 and I missed the rebates, I'd be pissed too. Not sure what could be done, but I feel your pain.

Agreed, they need to come up with a solution. You're a braver man than I am. After two weeks with mine off, I was afraid I'd void the warranty and back on they went. That being said though, the cap looks great!
Here are a few more pics of the interior. To the naked eye it doesn't look all that blue. I think these pics are a better representation of the colors.

Interesting observation. I've never really noticed that before, to me, it's always looked more black. Maybe it's because I can't see the bottom of the doors when sitting in the truck, just the leather at the top.
It could also be due to a bad white balance of the camera. I'll try to do a...
I test drove several Longhorns and Limiteds before I bought my truck, and quite a few of them had this issue with the folding mirrors. I wound up getting a truck with the Tow Package (that's a whole different conversation) and based on the number of posts I see about this issue, I'm starting to...
This is what I suspected to be the case. I've seen these marks by bolts before, but usually in the engine compartment or on the frame. I guess if they were inspected that's a good thing!
Thanks for the response!
Noticed these white lines inside the door frames on my truck. Haven't tried to wipe them off yet, because I'm curious why they're there. Look like something done at the factory during an inspection, but maybe someone knows for sure?
I didn't wait the dealer out, in fact, I didn't even find out about the sale till the day before I bought my truck. I had a 2017 Titan XD Platinum Reserve and I was kinda thinking about trading it in, but the deal won me over. I mean, why pay more if you don't have to, right? Plus, it's an...
In order for a cover to work, it needs to sit on top of the bed, and the front clamps need to be about 1' away from the cab. After looking at a lot of options, I went with the Gator Hybrid tonneau cover. It looks like a softcover but has hard plastic underneath. It fits perfectly with the...
If you have a 1500 with the multifunction tailgate and NO RAM boxes there are two triangular braces at the top front of the bed. We think they are there to add lateral support for the tailgate when opened horizontally. This is why no cover with rails will work.

I've never heard of greasing hydraulic steps. I had a Chevy Avalanche with power steps for 6 years, and I never did any maintenance on them. They worked perfectly the whole time.
