I went with 33 "XL" tires to avoid additional, extra weight. Also added the 2" level, which I think makes the truck sit up nice - noticed zero difference while driving.
Great...thanks. According to the fitment guide at Crutchfield, there's only 1 offbrand 6x9 that will fit in our front doors right now. However, it does seem that some are using the same 6x9 speakers for all doors. What's the difference in door speakers (front vs back)?
I've been racking my brain, following this thread and the other one around this topic. I know it wasn't a true audiofile system, but I sure do miss the Bose system that was in my 2016 Colorado and would like to do as much of a 'bang for your buck' upgrade to the stock_6 system as possible...
I sure hope so! When backing out of my garage yesterday and gently applying the brakes as I'm going into my 'turn-around', the noise was embarrassingly louder than usual. I was expecting my neighbors to come running out of their house to see what could possibly make that sound (and not be...
I like hearing that. I just got quoted $25/tire to do ceramic coating. I can sell my 'take offs' and that will pay for ceramic coating for the next 6 winters :)
Dumb question, but what do you all (those that see real winters) do to protect your investment after replacing your factory wheels with those nice shiny aftermarket wheels?
YES! Thank god, I'm not the only one. Mine smells like I hit an entire family of stoner skunks, backed up and hit them again. Very noticeable, as I also park in the garage. I have just over 600 miles on it now, and it's a bit fainter, but still there.
I've had dozens of new cars over the...
I just figured out how to create one: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/headlight-adjustment-after-leveling-poll.4793/
My last truck had a 1.5" level on it, and everyone's consensus was that doing so put the headlights right where they should be at. Meaning....that the headlights may...
Hence the question. I had a 2016 Colorado that I put a Zone level kit on and had no issues. I really do want to know other drivers experiences with the 2" level kit. Does that help?
I am curious about this, and have seen very minimal answers scattered across a few threads. I'm strictly looking for 2" levelers out there (not the 2.5 levels or even a 2" lift).
I want to bump this back to the top because I just had my 2" level done today. Headlights seemed high on the wall backing out of the garage this evening, but went driving around out of my way purposely looking for someone to flash me. Nobody did.
It sounds like a mixed report of around 50% of...
I may have to check out this bed rug thing. The first truck that I invested in a spray in liner, I vowed never to do anything but that. May last 2 trucks have had it, and that was the very first and most important aftermarket "mod" that I had done to my 2019 RAM. Didn't get the factory, so...
