By 'underoiled' do you mean undercoated? I did have undercoating done before the snow flew here in NE Ohio. I'd like to believe it could be a fluky thing like that. I'm still a little puzzled by WHEN it has happened. I've taken the truck on long road trips to Michigan and back with not one...

Yeah - this is indeed upsetting. Especially with a truck that has just under 4k miles on it. The only thing I have NOT done yet is to tow something without using the tow/haul mode. I've always been pretty anal about using that when trailering.

Yes - those are the only obvious things I can think of to check. As you can see from the photos, it's pooling in places under the hood, and then escapes out of the area of the hood above (behind) the headlights and runs down.

Yeah - I've had minor warranty issues on vehicles before, but this....this is special.

No, no oil cooler or mod under the hood other than CAI. It's fresh, clean oil (just had an oil change a month ago).

That's what I would have thought. Any ideas why this is? It just seems to happen when I use tow/haul, which I've done twice now. Once with a load of mulch in my trailer, and another with my boat. I thought the first time was a fluke, but it's definitely a pattern now.

I just noticed that EVERY time that I use tow/haul mode, I have to wipe down my front end (grill, headlights, bumper, and all the way down to the drips coming off my fog lights due to oil spewing out from under the hood. Silly question, but is this normal???

Replaced the third brake and cargo lights with LEDs.

Update to the Update: Mine still parties with Bluntman and Chronic. I took it for a longer drive today, and it's back and in full force after closing the garage door upon my return. Truck has close to 3000 miles on it now, and no sign of fading.

UPDATE: I installed the aFe intake today and took a quick spin. When I got back and parked in the garage, I didn't notice the stink. Wonder if the problem has something to do with the stock air box? Maybe that's where the drugs are getting smuggled in - the 'carbon' filter in the top of the...

I think it's like the OP said - much clearer. I did have to turn down the treble and mid-range in the radio settings though, like many said they had to do. I've only taken a very short drive since installing them though.
