Is everyone running the recommended tire pressure on the door jam or the tire itself? I have the 275/65/18 wildpeak and at 38psi they look slack,so I bumped them to 43psi. The sidewall calls for 50psi for max load.
I run 90 octane non-ethanol and evidently they dropped the first of the summer...
I’m not up to date on new vehicles, but as far as the late 90’s there was a momentary switch that is tripped by moving the brake pedal. It is simple to see if one is there. Look towards the top of the lever while moving the pedal.
You need to know the amperage of the circuit you’re breaking and...
I’ve seen a bad alternator kill a battery like that. It’ll charge just like normal, but when the truck is parked it will discharge the battery.
When you get it back let it cool to ambient temp, then put your hand on the alternator and see if it’s warm.
I have no experience with these pickups, but I do have experience with big trucks. The fuel filter is generally the first to gel. If you have extra filters you can put on a warm filter with a 50/50 mix of Diesel and the white bottle of Power Service. You need to dose the tank with Power Service...

I think something is binding up. I turned off the hill start this morning and will see what that does.
The motor rev’s just like it’s in neutral, then when it does go in gear it shock loads the driveline. The first time it happened I had no idea what it was going to do,so it jumped 4-5’ before I could hit the brakes.
I believe it’s a mechanical problem in the trans,but not 100% positive.
So far it’s only happened when opening/closing gate. I’m going to try turning off the hill assist and try that.
Others reported being able to shift to reverse then drive, but this one doesn’t react to that. The only way to...
It comes out of park and lights move on selector, but doesn’t go in gear. There’s a thread on here called “shifter knob issues”. It has a couple videos of the same thing this one is doing.
In that thread it didn’t seem like there was a concrete fix. Some where fixed by a flash, valve body or new...
