Lower your air pressure to 38 or so. That will make them a little softer. Just watch that the tire edges don't wear, if they do you will have to put a few more pounds of air to correct that.
You did the right thing to sell the others and buy the KO2's. I noticed they are D rated ( My chevy were E rated) I ran them at 40 psi and didn't mind the ride. Traction was off the charts in the snow.
I'll run the new set at 40 on the Ram and see how it rides. I would hate to ruin the Cadillac...
Ebay sent me the wrong tire, and the other guy can't get any.....so, I had the pleasure of driving in my first snowstorm with the factory tires. They suck. I couldn't stop at stop signs, just slipping and sliding. Very bad experience.
I visited the "neighbor" tire shop today. Prices are getting...
I went to the shop today. Prices are going crazy. KO2 $306 plus tax. Plus they are having nationwide shortages. So I don't know if they will have them tomorrow or in a few months. Maybe I will throw them into the basement and mount them for next season.
I got snow falling now. Let's see how the...
I have lasfit interior, dod on 3rd brake light and cargo lights. Something from headlight Revolution for all the tail lights, headlights and dod ss3 fogs.
No issues.
These lights are so nice you can drive without low beams if the fog was so bad.
They are plug and play, you order the light for your truck, the light is the same but the bracket are different for your application. You assemble the light to the bracket provided with 2 allen screws. The allen...
I had a set of KO2's on my last truck. I loved the tires. Wear was good and winter traction was superb.
On the BFGoodrich website, I looked for KO2's. The size 275/55 R20 was not listed so I emailed them. Their reply email was BFGoodrich doesn't recommend the tire on a Ram 1500, that's why they...
I did a smittybilt license plate mount. Easiest way to mount a lightbar. No drilling, had it working in under an hour. I had to drill 1 3/8: hole thru the plastic grill to pass the wire thru. It don't show.
I did the LED bulb replacement from headlight revolution. (they have videos on line to show how to do it) Everything fits inside the dust covers. And for proper aim the diodes must be clocked 3 and 9 o:clock. I went with Xenondepot LED low and High beam LEDs for $143 a pair and Diode Dynamics...
You could drive the truck slowly with only the fogs on if you needed to.
It's also cool now when I have them off but turn the wheel to change direction or throw a blinker on they light up as turning lights. Gives the truck a Cadillac feel. With the other fogs on the truck I never noticed...
