That sounds like electrical problems of some sort. Maybe a computer needs to be re flashed. Mine doesn't beep either (knock on wood).
Old school car knowledge would advise you to remove the battery connections off of the battery and let it sit a while, then strike the connectors together one...
I assume (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) ECO mode means that MDS is activated. Or simply it's in 4 cylinder operation. Sometimes you hear it thru the exhaust as the tone changes if you are trying to accelerate on level or slight up hills. You won't hear the note change (because the truck...
No lights on the dash?
I would for fun twist the battery connections to make sure they are tight. Bad electrical connections can cause all kinds of weird stuff . Good luck with it. I don't (knock on wood) have this problem.
I purchased a long handled car wash body brush. Then a small brush for the rims and tires. I don't get my hands wet washing the cars. I got a large bucket and fill it up with warm water from the hose. Wheels and tires first them the body gets washed in that order.
I have a mixing valve coming...
Yes I live in CT with windshield obstruction laws. I have been using a small camera mounted on the windshield for about 10 years. I hard wired it in. This was the very first mod I did, pulling the inside trim around the windshield off and running the wire around the windshield of the new truck...
Some states have windshield obstruction laws. So get a small one and mount it above your rear view mirror. Also if recording a voice without another persons knowledge, then just say to the cop who just pulled you over, "officer I have a dash cam and your voice is being recorded at this time". If...
My 88 K5 Blazer was new with 55 miles on it. Same story the Blazer got a bent frame at a traffic light, not my fault. The dealer rebuilt the Blazer. The frame was replaced and the front clip. It was wrecked for 1/4 the value (5,000 parts and labor 20,300 new). The dealer fixed it in 8 months...
It depends on who fixes it, but my luck would have gremlins start messing with my ride or the paint peeling etc in the future. If you can afford to trade it that would be my choice.
I have a question. Without a dashcam, how can you defend yourself from blame if the person in the rear car says you hit the front car before you got hit from behind?
I'm glad you didn't get hurt much, and accident's suck big time.
(The car insurance in back is trying to lessen the damages), if...
When mine had 3000 on the clock I filmed it for fun. Around 5500 rpm. 0-60 was 6.3 seconds which is quick for a big truck. I kept it 0-60 because I was afraid of the utube popo getting a speeding ticket because of filming myself breaking the law...
I've been doing all my oil and filters all my life. I'm 60 now and got a deal for free oil changes for the trucks life ( for the original owner) so I'm letting the dealer do it. I'm worried they screw it up. These trucks are not cheap any more!
I replaced my light bar with a Rigid Industries American made light. E Series pro 20" 120313.
This light makes a Chinese made 50" look under powered.
I'm afraid to turn it on the back roads now. This light is incredible.
Is there a way to turn the cargo lights off or to adjust the time they spend on? If you just exit the truck they go on. They stay on for a while too. I'd like to adjust the timer or tell the program just 10 seconds....
That could fix the guys who have problems with LED's, or in my case save the...
