The Rebel 12A is available, and what you ordered, not the Rebel 12. The FCA site incorrectly states vinyl seats, they are in fact all black leather with white sticking according to my non local dealer as well as pics of the first 12As arriving on lots this week.
I drive modified Audi's with track coilover suspensions, a Porsche Cayenne, drive in HPDE events and am a driving instructor for our EMS unit. This truck handles insanely well, period, not just for a large truck. I can't imagine spending money trying to improve handling, improvements will be...
99% of shops that did that damage, IF they offered any compensation, would only have them refinished at a subpar level. Stand-up shop, despite the sloppy tech.
Yes there is enough clear. You probably remove 40 Mills and leave 100 Mills of clear. But there are only a few detailers in this country that could be trusted to do a proper job leveling the paint and you are litterally looking at 70-100 hours of labor, for a daily driven truck.
Sorry there is orange peel all over that truck. It's shiny and detailed properly but zoom in and orange peel city. Nothing short of 80 hours of wetsanding would remedy that. It exists on every modern car including Bugattis, Ferrari's, Mercedes, etc.
Compound and polish especially with a 7424 will not remove even a bit of orange peel. Either comes from the factory with limited orange peel or needs to be wetsanded.
I'm sure ordering is shut down because dealers ordered a ton of them inititially. This probably caused an inventory issue with one on the 12" components so they just shut it down. Happens all the time with JIT inventory management, and American manufacturer mismanagement.
Don't know if they come in Ram sizes but I run Nokian Hakkas on my cars and SUVs. They are absurdly good in snow, ice and not quite as mushy feeling as Blizzaks. Blizzaks at least used to have only 1/2 the tread depth as snow tire compound, and the rest all season. Don't know if that is still...
I've had various different catbacks or full systems on my Audi's and all have mellowed, quieted down, and become slightly less raspy after 1k-1300 miles.
Speaking from experience, bring some medium polish for tire install. Cleaning the weight mount points with brake cleaner alone is not enough to remove the ceramic. I lost several wheel weights because of this.
