Looks like the black plastic has been etched(acidic) chrome wording has a bronze tint, or is that just the photos?

I avg 17mpg, gauge shows 540 miles to empty, so fairly accurate.

Fram ultra synthetic filters are highly regarded by BITOG forum. I just changed oil last week and used this filter, going forward I will be using Wix XP(just received a filter1.com order). I don't agonize over filters, did a little research and picked these two brands as my go to's.

You beta testers....Take LOTS of pics as you remove the cover and splice in. Post how to pics and vids, I'm fairly handy but the fear of wrecking something on my truck paralyzes me sometimes. If it's as easy as some think, I will buy one.
