I haven't looked to see where it is in a 2019 but earlier year Rams and all other FCA vehicles with the ZF 8spd have a manual neutral lever somewhere that allows a tow truck driver to tow a disabled car. In previous Rams it was near the steering wheel behind an access panel on the console...

Uconnect and Mopar.com remote apps don't work after truck has been shut off for 1 hour or more
Assist button stopped working last week. Fixed at dealer with a hard reset. Going back next week for remote app issues.
Everything else is...
Mine is also a 8.4in and the remote app and web site commands almost never worked. It's now at the dealer and they are trying to diagnose the Assist button and lack of communication for vehicle updates on the Mopar website. Star case started.
I'm bringing mine in with 8.4in screen next week since my Assist button also stopped working. My app has never worked well nor the Mopar site for remote commands. My online vehicle status has not updated since Jan 3. So I'm bringing it in for the Assist button and lost communications and...
Yep, Steve White was out of the bracket. I tried calling Mopar Wholesale Parts and there is no operator. It goes to a voicemail for someone named Josh. Oh well.
As of yesterday my Assist button in the truck times out and says there is a problem. Try again later. Any of you with app troubles also have this issue?
This is my issue with doing wireless charging in the new truck. Without a USB hookup, Android Auto or Car Play doesn't work I think. I need that hookup to do voice to text messages now, as well as get full screen nav, etc.
Yep, agreed. This has new vendor written all over it. Either that or an issue was found near launch that required a new design, but if they are still building trucks with brake controllers right now, it's likely a new vendor.
As an update I'm hearing the AD part is on backorder until at least the end of January. The AD change is being called "unplanned" and the supplier needs some time to make the new part.
Yes, I've also tried the new UConnect app and it's no change. It and the previous UConnect app worked just great for my 3 other 2016 vehicles. No go for my 2019 Ram.
How about your Uconnect app?
A lot of us still have an issue with the Uconnect and Mopar web site remote commands. There are a couple of other threads on it.
Yes, my 16 had full voice to text as well with UConnect. I realize now it's only available with Android Auto or Car Play but if so, why is the option still there in the messages menu for voice to text? The UConnect voice only prompts me for canned messages however.
Just seems like they took...
My problem is I used the remote Uconnect app on my phone with my 16 Ram at work. I'd remote start the truck using the app since I don't sit within keyfob range. Was also helpful to start the truck at an airport parking lot while on the bus heading back. This has to get fixed.
My new 19 I just got last week also seems to turn something off after it sits for a few hours. Neither the app or the Mopar web site work after that. A short time after the truck has run both work.
I now have an open case with Uconnect.
