Yes they should cover any damage caused by a covered issue. If carpet is only wet, it will dry, but if there is mold, they should replace that along with the repair, under warranty. If they don't want to fix anything effected by the issue, contact Ram.
If you bought it used, you don't know it's history. Over filling the tank can cause this problem. It's mot just Ram, it's many new cars. It's due to emissions systems. If it over fills, gas gets into the vent system, and it can't vent, causing the gas to back up in the filler neck. You can never...
There is a picture somewhere in one of these threads, showing side by side. They have been redesigned, with a little more meat, in an area prone to cracking. You have to be side by side to see subtle difference.
They redesigned the rear window in June or July last year. You probably have to go back 10 pages to find the post where the person noticed the new design, due to how long this thread has become. That was a replacement, being different than his original. I would assume they started using them on...
I haven't looked at their ads, but the price the told me, when I sent my build, was just what they quoted me, plus the dealer charge, which they told me of at the time. Minus the rebates, at time of delivery. If they are advertising a price, that price probably is including rebates at that time...
As a former Chrysler tech, who went to the factory training center a few times, we learned there, factory paint, is fully baked in the factory. Any repairs, even in the plant, are not. The original paint is baked at a very high temperature, DOT regulations, say a built car, can only be heated...
I really don't understand what people are complaining about with the back up lights. I've seen a few people say so. My back up camera looks like daylight at night.
Spraying WD40 isn't going to do anything. If it's an idler pulley, it won't get into the bearing. Try finding a long screwdriver, or even a dowel, and hold it with your thumb on the end. then, touch the other end, near the pully, where you don't catch in the belt, and lead your ear, against the...
That was probably a sticky lifter. The Seafoam cleans it out. Even safer method, because Seafoam is just a solvent, add a quart of type f trans fluid. It's still oil, but has very high detergent additives.
I flew down to Houston, where they picked me up, and took me to the dealership. I drove 1,400 miles home. Take a Friday off work, and take 2 days to drive home. Enjoy the new truck.
It may not be that bad, if you want to install yourself, it's not that hard. A friend of mine just bought a used Ford Expedition, that the only thing wrong, was driver's seat was torn. Google searched, and found exact factory leather seat cover, bottom only, for $50. I think they had full sets...
