I have the stage 4 Thuren tuned Kings with comp adjusters on my 2020 Rebel. Prior to this I had the Icon stuff but it just didn’t do the trick for me. These Thurens are absolutely incredible. Expensive as hell, but if you take your rig off-road, they are worth it. I’m running Don’s beefy...
I have had 2 Trips recently that were both over 3,000 of mixed driving. I averaged almost 18.6 on one trip and 18.4 on the other. Truck is lifted, 3.92’s, and 35” tires with a snug top topper. My EVIC is within .1 mpg. Around town I average 13.3 consistently.
You’d be surprised what goes on when other people service your car.... the reason I do my own maintenance. I looked under my truck today... again, not saying it’s impossible but I don’t see how anything could get kicked up by a tire to contact the filter. My truck sees dirt on a regular basis...
Not saying it’s not possible, but I highly doubt a rock that got kicked up did that. More than likely a piece of debris or burr on the filter wrench. I’ve seen that happen before.
Mine is a 2020 Rebel with the uConnect 12. My phone is an iPhone 11. I honestly thought the speakers in my truck were blown, that’s exactly what it sounded like. Switched back to Bluetooth audio and Sirius and the sound is perfect. I tried 3 different iPhone cables included an OEM one. No...
PC only helps with throttle response, it doesn’t add any power. The only thing that would help with the 37’s is lower gearing. 3.92’s are about perfect with 35” tires, I’d look at 4.56 or 4.88 gears. Even those won’t help with power but it will put the final drive ratio back in line with where...
For what it’s worth, the extended width of these trucks has nothing to do with fitting larger tires. The width is a byproduct of longer front a-arms. Extending the front a-arms is how you get more suspension travel on an a-arm suspension configuration. The width these are extended directly...
This is correct. They currently have a different lower spring spacer they can use to provide the full 1.5” lift for the Rebel (2.5” over non Rebel / ORG trucks), but it sacrifices a bit of up travel. They were saying they might need to re engineer the spring because it was hard to get the lift...
I have the stage 5 kit on my Rebel right now. I gained about 1” of lift over the factory Rebel lift. The truck rides amazing and I have nothing but good things to say. The kit does great in the street and after a 1400 mile road trip with the family, I had no complaints. I’ve had the truck on 2...
Almost 3600 miles on my Rebel and my mileage has steadily been increasing. I’m at 18.2 average for the life of the truck and recently got 18.6 mpg for a 678 mile road trip form Southern California to the north. I’m impressed considering I’m running 295/70 18 Cooper ST Maxx tires with a leveling...
There is just not a whole lot of aftermarket for the 5th gen Rams unfortunately. I’m about to fabricate some sliders, a front bumper and a secondary battery holder. I plan on hopefully offering these things for sale shortly after I get them all fixed up.
Any updates on the super chips flash paq from folks who have been running them for a while now? Any reliability issues? Any warranty issues? Happy with the performance?
My Mopar Ramair intake showed up yesterday. I pulled the trigger mainly for two reasons.... first being I want to stick with all factory components on the power train. Second, the design of the new I take opens up the passenger side of the engine bay so I can fabricate a new tray for an AGM...
