I agree with the statement on ridge grapplers and hard compunds, one of the most dangerous tires I ever ran. In snow/slush/ compact snow 4wd all the time, or good luck going anywhere. Had them on an old truck 2 years back. Got about 55k out of them. In rain they break traction often. In winter...
I'm just speaking from what I seen in the field when I was and what customers told me. Take what I say with a grain of salt. A mechanic usually sees all the problems with vehicles. Very rarely if ever do techs/mechanics hear what's good about vehicles or what works lol. You only go to the...
In cold climates air suspension is nothing but problems on rams, range rovers, jeeps, I've seen it plenty of times when I was a mechanic/tech. If it's warmer climate I would otherwise no. Most customers up in colder climates actually want to convert it to non air.
The guys likely doing the oil change are lube techs. I worked in a dealership before and some care and actually clean it up, or others are just there for a pay check and don't care what work they do. I don't think it's too much to ask, most techs will clean it in order to not have a comeback...
First thing I was yelled at for when I first started years ago at a dealership  Just take them off and gently put the metal section down on the glass until you lift it up to put the wiper up.
The ridge grapplers I thought were fine on wet pavement, fresh snow, dry pavement. What I have noticed though is they suck In packed snow, and mud or any condition possibly slick. Otherwise they are not bad. They look cool but there are better tires out there.
I personally would choose 3.92s no matter what. I had 2 old chevy 1500s with 3.42 gears from factory, anything above stock tire size it was a dog. Gas mileage was great but power wise I always wanted more. Towing was alright. I know they were the old 4 speed but still. I swore to myself I would...
You will like the at3s, had them on one of my older trucks. Very good in everything never found myself in a situation that I doubted them. I had about 50,000 miles on them before I got rid of the truck, tread was about 5/32s. Never had one complaint with them.
Sounds odd, for one why are you counting turns when you thread a oil filter? You hand tight till its bottomed out make sure its flush than tighten with wrench a 1/4 turn if you want. What filter did you use? Did you check the threads before putting it on? Sometimes even though its new the...
That hurt to watch! I would be p***** Looks like a dumb kid lol most landscape companies hire anybody willing to work. He probably knew how to operate it or was new but decided to mess around. Foreman probably left for the day. The other guys clearly didn't know what he was doing. I'd say the...
