This behaviour appears to be resolved with the Feb 15th trans software update. Mine has not done it since the update was applied.

While I think its secure what does the lid have to do with the screws being attached the the plastic? The lid is just one are that can be compromised. I wonder why the also dont make it secure on all sides instead of just the top.

I also purchased the Tempered glass protector on amazon. Definitely nicer than the zagg and other ones I've seen in the past. Very comprehensive install package too. So far seems to be helping with the fingerprints too...

I'm experiencing something similar in my 19. It jerks pretty bad when almost stopped or stopped and going again. Definitely does not happen everytime but a few times in the last 300 miles. I know it's not just me because I had a 2016 with the 8 speed and it was flawless.

I am happy with my diamondback with line-x. Waterproof and lockable, and is pretty functional. The biggest downside is cost but I already at that on the last truck and just moved it to the new one.
