So, I just ordered my new Ram today. After working with 17 dealerships, I went with Aaron at Mark Dodge. Mike at Lakeland Chrysler in FL came within $1300 but the other dealerships were thousand off! Both Aaron and Mike were extremely responsive and seemed straight-forward. I don't think you...
I'm with you and would love to buy locally. That why I've reached out to all the dealers within an hour of me.
HaHa. I'm always up for a road trip! I sold my 2019 Ram private party a few weeks back, so no trade to worry about.
Anyone found a good deal on a special build in the Southeast? I'm in Columbia, SC and the best deal I've found so far on a special order truck is invoice, so just a few thousand off MSRP. I'm looking at a limited with a $74K MSRP. They seem eager to discount similar trucks on the lot by up to...
I’m really puzzled that Ford doesn’t offer a night or black edition. If you want a higher level trim than Lariat, you better love chrome or be willing to drop thousands to dechrome the truck. Even the Lariat sport isn’t all blacked out. Then the ride doesn’t compare to the Ram, as Ford still...
When I test drove the Platinum the ride quality was definitely better with my Ram. The F-150 still has leaf springs in the rear. I did here the Raptor changed over to rear coil springs for 2021 though.
I was planning to pick up the Platinum also. I sold my 2019 Ram private party but now I’m having second thoughts. I’m not big on chrome and Ford has no blackout package for limited or platinum. The lariat isn’t really at the level I want. Then, there’s no HUD option on F150. Also the B&O...
I know I've read that some members have installed ORP springs with the Mopar 2" lift to gain additional front lift. A few questions for the members who took this route. Does it eliminate rake? Anyone have the part number you used for the ORP springs? Did your dealer install this for you...
I found myself shopping for a new truck recently. I saw good incentives on 2020s and decent trade-in value on my 2019 Ram. After test driving a Raptor, AT4, and Trail Boss I realized I’d be downgrading to go with any. Even the B&O audio in the Raptor didn’t sound as good as my Ram’s H&K audio...
I did a muffler delete and MDS is very noticeable to me now but I also hate the stop/start feature since I deleted my muffler. I'm in the habit of pressing the Tow/Haul toggle every time I start my truck and it seems to disable both. I'm assuming it's OK to alway run with Tow/Haul off???
Had the dealership calibrate my speedometer for the 35” Nittos I installed a while back. Speed is accurate and I feel like the shift points may be a little different. Cost $125 for the calibration.
It’s pretty common to find a 15% off on mopar’s site. That brings the $925 MSRP down to $786.25. Add on tax and it’s still likely cheaper at the dealer than paying such high shipping through BAM.
I guess it’s just a habit for me now but when I get in my truck I press the Tow/Haul switch. No MDS and I think my trucks shifts better that way. Probably hurts my fuel economy but with the Mopar lift and 35s I guess I’ve already killed my fuel economy
I dropped my Laramie off at the dealership yesterday for an issue with my passenger-side power folding mirror. The mirror will fold in without issue but when it starts folding out I see rapid movement back and forth and I hear loud clicking noises.
You folks who have already installed the Mopar Catback, do you use your existing tips? I'm trying to confirm that my existing black 4" tips that came on my truck (Laramie Black Appearance Package) will work with this exhaust but neither my dealership nor BAM will confirm. Anyone know for sure?
