The electrical loads in vehicles today is probably bigger but nothing a alternator cant handle. Electronics have come along way. They are getting more out of them with less. So im not sure that the E-torque is benefiting todays electronics any better. I certainly don't have data to back...
I agree with you. To be honest I didn't pay much attention to the advertised MPG. I didnt consider getting the E-torque b/c its new tech and pricey to repair. The alternator is tried and true. Easy to replace. Seems a bit gimmicky to me but i can understand the draw to it
I have 3500 on mine and I'm getting 16.5 on the highway. I don't do a lot of town driving so i can't comment on that. This truck gets better fuel mileage than my old Tundra. So ill take it
Im from the other side of this. Ill have my truck payment for the next 10 months on my 2019 rebel and it will be paid off. I traded in my 2014 tundra for this truck. That truck only had 60k on it so my trade in was good. I have a 2007 Premium GT mustang. Bought that new and still have it...
I didnt test drive my rebel before purchase. I put down 500 to lock it in my name and picked it up. Its been a good decision thus far. I understand the thought process on test driving before purchase but you could have problems after only 1000 miles so I don't think a test is really that big...
I watched this video as well, I then went to the website and its not available for the rebel. This seems to be a problem with most of the grill guards that i have found and liked. It will say not for the rebel.
Is there a grill gaurd for our 2019 rebels. It seems the most do not fit these trucks but fit the others. Im not holding my breathe as its been out for a year now and nothing has really caught my eye
Seems ok deal to me I think you could do better if you bought new. It could be a problematic truck but so could a new one. Nothing is for certain. Tons of people having problems with transmission and air suspension.
So I have noticed with my truck when i turn the knob real fast to drive it will not actually initiate into drive. I do not press on the gas to see if it will go as it could slam into gear and of course do damage to the tranny. I do however slowly turn the know back to park and then back to...
I come from a tundra so 14 was pretty standard. At 75-80mph it wouldn't get that.
I recently purchased a rebel here about 2 months ago. I have 1500 miles on it. I have done the break in stuff that the owners manual says to do. I just drove from Bismarck ND to Tioga ND. Its a 200 mile...
End of the month is generally a good time depend on where the dealer is for the quota. If they don't need the sell then they will likely not budge much. If they need it then they will work with ya
My tundra would reboot at least once every few months when driving. From my understanding it needed an update from the manufacture of the radio itself. I don't think they push updates to trucks that way but I could be wrong. Even toyota didnt have the update for the radio. One has to wonder...
I purchased a rebel almost 2 months ago. So far i have enjoyed the truck. The connect system restarted itself one day when I was driving it and the other day when i started the truck it had some noise for about 2 seconds. Then went away. I poster said after the first oil change it would go...
I had read awhile ago they had some manufacturing issues. It didnt give any details but good to know. I myself not a big fan of HK as it was considered low cost awhile ago. Im sure they have several lines and series for the level of quality one might expect. At any rate you put that many...
I noticed a chattering noise at start up a few different times. I have researched this as it seems the dealer fails to duplicate this when people take it in. Some say its no big deal and others are frustrated. I just purchased my rebel about 2 months ago and was wondering if any of you have...
It could be that they didn't expect the demand to be as high and may have ran out of inventory for the HK. It could be that some were having issues with sound and they opted to discontinue the HK. The Alpine system is great
Area makes a difference as to price. You may want to deal with another dealer. Keep in mind there will always be someone that's gotten a better deal than you. Take for instance people who fly out to Idaho and deal with the biggest Ram dealer in america. As for your question I personally...
I didnt even research the idea as an alternator is a relatively cheap replacement and for the most part is reliable. E-torque may or may not be those things. I didnt want to take the chance. It would be an expensive piece to replace. The air ride suspension was a no brainer for me. Ive been...
