etorque offers up to 100lb ft of torque for the first half tire rotation from a dead stop.
Two benefits I notice…. Upshifts when accelerating are very, very smooth.
Braking is also affected by regenerative charging…and I’ve read brakes last much longer, which I believe.
Yep.. be it hold a part in place until fastened, or… a jig to affix a sticker, label, etc. Or a hanger for an item headed through the paint shop maybe…
That’s my guess…. You got an added bonus feature not on your sticker.
That makes it limited edition :)
I spent a lot of time in my youth under the hood and actually sitting on the fender well or the front clip to get access.. you can’t shove a few toothpicks with a sledgehammer under the hood now… lol.
Hell, I remember the days when you dropped a tool, you could hear it bing or bang once or...
Counterpoint. And to be clear… I am a get off my lawn, old school ways of simpler like you.
However.
The trends and what people by majority want today…is not in line with how we think.
People want to pinch pennies for gas and be loaded up with tech from the time they unlock their vehicle with...
I would bet a small amount of money…mostly because I don’t gamble.. that you won’t see a new Hemi or V8 from new RAM leadership.
We’re only pushing the EV and hybrid trucks a little further into the future with the new administration coming in.
Trends are smaller motors, turbo charged.
That...
Had this issue on my truck when new last year and it got cold in the mitten.
Had cheapo washer fluid in it from the factory still, froze up. I was able to warm it up, disconnect the lines under the hood driver side, then get some compressed air through to clear out the “slush”.
Syphoned out...
Heard MRob. Best/Worst part is.. it’s all on you. Your money, your truck, you spend and do as you see fit.
Everyone is gonna have an opinion, and that’s all it is :)
I believe in a balance of proper maintenance and wasting money.
And by wasting, I mean more than necessary…or needed.
Light...
Dealer.
Find one you’re comfortable with and can trust. Explain the problem…and you’re not looking for them to play the guessing game.
I get a lot of people have a bad taste in their mouth from dealerships. I’m lucky enough not to have that issue.
Battery reset is where I’d start too..
Make sure the connectors are tight now that you removed the pedal commander.
Stories like this are why I don’t have one. I realize it still did it after you removed it.
Code readers are inexpensive… and you can get one in a day or two.. while you’re...
I’ve had Silver, Dark red (I forget what they called it in 2008 on my Laramie) White and now Patriot Blue.
My current blue is my favorite color.. but damn does it show dirt, and my obsession in trying to keep it clean.
Still, I think nothing looks better than a dark colored truck when clean...
To be honest… unless you planned on taking a laminated window sticker in a trophy room and keeping the truck until it’s a classic… I’m not sure I’d give this a second thought.
You bought it, drive it, enjoy it. If you need your window sticker for reference, use a website that takes your VIN and...
I’m gonna guess a lot more than going to a dealer to get it diagnosed.
OP, it may be time…or it may even be well past the time to let a shop look at it.
I commend you for being a DIYer, truly, I do.
But man, I think at this point you’re throwing good money after bad…
No offense, I’m a pretty avid DIY guy for some things.
Seeing pictures like this… makes me glad I have the Max Care warranty…
Years ago I replaced the HC on my old 1988 Ranger, I cheated and removed just the bare minimum to get it out, new one in.
I woudn’t even think to attempt it looking at...
Coming from a 2015 RAM limited, I knew what to expect with ride quality, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. My new rig has 22” rims, and i was wondering if ride comfort would be sacrificed. I’ve not yet felt that is has, but I do feel more stable cornering then I did with the old 20” rims. That...
Search around… you’re not close to being alone.
Fix ranges for free from dealer on a good will (2019 puts you out of the 3/36 warranty) to going to an upholstery shop for a fix.
There are several topics on this already, search around and there’s several different angles to take.
I had a 2015 Limited with raise/lower buttons under the radio that were top/bottom, but not side by side, perhaps that is what they’re talking about.
I agree… air ride absolutely affects the ride quality. Want proof, but it in Off Road 2 mode and go for a ride, then go to standard and hit the...
