You would think…they would put 5.7 or 6.4 on the sticker, I’ve looked at my sticker probably 100 times online..and never noticed they do not. Nor does a VIN decoder say it.
Crazy. I can easily identify one by eye simply by looking at the bed in front of the rear wheel..

My 2023 has been great.
Had a new rear gear set, seals, etc., put in due to a slight clunk.. had to have the turn signal assembly (clock spring) replaced under warranty.
Other than that.. it’s been a great truck.
20K on the clock, owned since July/August of 2023.

If they do replace the glass, you come out ahead in this warranty… the fix is already out there.

I know MaxCare doesn’t cover body panels, rust, wear items like brake pads or rotors, glass..
Parts and labor are covered under max care warranty.
I’m simply playing devils advocate here.. so don’t take this the wrong way.
only way I could see this coming back to bite you… is if they consider the rear window leak your fault…and not cover.

Did you show the the picture and results of the dye test?
Silly question… but did you fill from the radiator cap or the overflow reservoir? Is there any chance this spot on the coolant neck was a result of spillage upon filling?

If you have MaxCare and you’re within the mileage/time limit of the warranty, it should be covered minus any deductibles.
Upon diagnosis, you also get a credit towards a rental.. it’s not much, like $35 a day…of up to 7 days.
Did you purchase the Max Care before the incident…or after? I...
So a common part with questionable history failed.. you can search for days for Hemi Lifter tick…
And most likely not a failure of oil changing history…

I texted a couple friends who own junk yards, asking if they have any 2019 or newer Ram Etorque MGUs… I’d be happy to ship/donate it to you if they have anything in their yards, but are all the MGUs the same?

If I’m not mistaken, yours should be covered for 8yr/80K miles, as should the 48V battery and related items.
Federal emissions warranty… but that doesn’t help you today.. just future info…

Surprised he didn’t tell you change it ever 3K…
On my 3 previous Rams, 2 of which, well over 100K, changed the oil within 10 to 15% of when it was due, typically 7 to 8K miles.. zero...
This is just me…and my opinion…
For me, the Limited is a luxury family truck.
Typically has more tech, air ride, etc.
It’s not the truck I’d choose to lift. Again, me, my opinion. Your truck, your money…
I believe when you lift it, thinks like forward collision warning won’t work, things...
Chrome is honestly…the only reason I’d think of sticking with a Limited in the future. Inquiring minds want to know.. love to see a Tungsten minus the chrome, pics please!!

I do like that Red. My next truck, will either be dark red (Don’t like the brighter shade) or pearl white. While I love my Patriot Blue, it’s a chore to keep clean, as I feared.
