My friends ford is the same way so he cut into the wall and frame a box 1' wider on each side of the truck just do the depth of the wall, framed in and added a foam insulation board for sound

Which Brand does colors? perhaps for the folks who live out west, you get it a grey color so when it bleaches out in the sun light to won't matter much as it will already be grey...
