Hey may or may not tow, he's going to lift it 3" high and change the wheels and tires out, not modify the engine except a custom made cold air intake. He's an electrical engineer working for Raytheon. and he already is going to change out all the speakers to infinities.
OK, so from an mechanical engineering stand point, which would you prefer gear wise 3.21 or 3.92 if you never will tow with your truck - My son asked ? I purchased my truck with 3.92.
I really know how you feel, my former Tacoma did the same thing by the window and i took it apart myself one evening and fixed it myself , never heard from it again. it was an actual loose screw.
Living in Massachusetts, kinda sucks , as you can't alter your exhaust system or the fines are nuts. Though I might change it out so it can be switched during inspection times.,
