Couldn't you just cutr the lower seam off the mud flap so as it to not hold water at all. but what about general water itself in the wheel wells doesn't that drop on the floor.
Perhaps you could buy Large Pee Pads for dogs and park on them when it rains so you don't get water in your garage...
Why don't you just purchase what fits on a 2020 model year, they are all the same nothing much has really changed underneath them other then the body style itself.

Overall is a Laramie much better than just the BigHorn model, really when it comes down to it. a truck is a truck, just one has more bells and whistles then the other really.

When all said and done it all comes down to the price of gas, I'm paying in Western, Massachusetts 2.89 a gallon for 89 Octane, however I use 87 which is 2.79
Id un solder it off the board if i could find it or cap the little opening in it to muffle the sound. But my wife talks so much i barely hear it sometimes. So much so i make her sit in the back seat, the dog sits up front.
